  • "A beautiful cottage in beautiful surroundings."

    Could not fault anything.

  • "We had a lovely holiday in Beech Cottage."

The cottage itself was very comfortable and the fenced in garden was ideal for our spaniel. The grounds in which the cottage stands is wonderful, from the small lake, where Canadian geese had 7 babies whilst we were there, to the dog exercise wooded area. The owners were very friendly and on hand if you needed them. We hope to return for another relaxing break. John & Elaine

  • "The cottage was excellent and exceeded my expectations."

It was very clean, had excellent furnishings, no pine junk, good size TV, free WiFi, good central heating, good kitchen facilities, and was in a very quiet area. Its situated on a farm but there was no activity of any kind of farm activities, the grassed areas were very well kept and there is a good sized pond. The location is about a mile from a pub/restaurant and its about 35 minutes from Falmouth, Newquay and Padstow. Top class place if you want peace and quiet. I'm normally quite difficult to please but I would recommend this place without reservations, it was great.

  • "We have just returned from a one week break at Beech cottage and can't wait to go back."

The location is perfect with stunning views down to the pond and surrounding countryside. There were geese with their goslings on the pond which was beautiful to see. The cottage has a front and back garden, both fully enclosed and had a good patch of grass for our dog to lie on to soak up the sun. The cottage itself had all the facilities you need for the stay and was very comfortable. The cottage is an ideal base for exploring Cornwall. Loads to see and do with just a short drive or stay onsite and enjoy the woodland walk. Thank you for a lovely stay. We had a wonderful relaxing time.

The surrounding grounds are well maintained and the paths through the woods are excellent especially with the lawn circle at the far bottom with benches for sitting. It is excellently located in easy reach of lots of places of interest.

Situated in such lovely surroundings we enjoyed both the calming outside views as well as the comfort of this gorgeous property. Our autumn break was so worthwhile, this is definitely a cottage to come back to at any time of year.

  • "The cottage was spotless and very comfortable."

It was in a beautiful setting which was very peaceful. It was well situated to be able to go most places in Cornwall. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at beech cottage. Just one small criticism a few more pieces of crockery and dishes would be useful especially for those of us who like to cook and eat at the property, however this would not stop us booking again.

  • "The farm hosts a number of holiday cottages."

Beech Cottage was beautifully furnished with curtains and cushions etc recently replaced. The bedding was high quality Egyptian Cotton and the bed was so comfortable. The kitchen was really well equipped for self-catering with the cleanest oven I've ever seen at a holiday kitchen. Great to have a washing machine, and washing line outside too. Outside seating front and back to enjoy the sunshine both morning and evening. The grounds were amazing and designed to enable walking/running staying within the farm grounds. Owners were really helpful and checked shortly after our arrival if we had everything we needed - a lovely touch. A fantastic cottage - highly recommended.

Nice views over the pond from your patio and lots of space to wander including walks for the dog on your doorstep. Beautiful area and well worth a visit.

  • "This is a cosy little cottage set in fantastic surroundings."

Set in the Cornish countryside with its' own large duck pond and woodland for walks it was just idyllic. The garden is fully enclosed which was ideal for our small dog. The owner was very helpful when we had to ring for directions. The directions given say that the sat nav stops 600 yards short. Ours stopped over 2 miles short (Tom Tom) in the village of Tregony (nice little shop/post office there) hence our confusion when we couldn't find the farm after 600 yards. He came to check all was well after we had settled into the cottage. I have marked the cottage down on comfort as the sofa was just too comfy and we struggled to get up out of it!!! Lovely place to stay in Cornwall with helpful host.

Vose farm is stunning, views over large pond to front and woodland to rear. So quiet and relaxing. Great base to travel to other cornish places ( St Ives, Newquay, Padstow) and local small villages (Mevagissey, Charlestown etc). Owners are there to help anytime but leave you to it. Would recommend to all and everyone.

The enclosed garden was perfect for our dog and made our stay much better as she could happily and safely wonder in and out between the living room and garden. We were greeted in a friendly, kind and generous manner despite our late arrival due to traffic. The cottage was the perfect base to explore Cornwall and was a warm and comfortable environment to return to each evening. We would thoroughly recommend Beech cottage and would happily return.
