  • "This was our third visit to Cotstone Cottage & it did not disappoint!"

We arrived to find that the new owners (from last year) have made a few changes to the property which was a lovely surprise & all very positive. The main thing we love about this cottage is that it does not feel like a rental property at all, it very much feels like home from home. It’s tastefully decorated, cosy and most importantly clean. Chipping Campden is also a lovely area, lots of pubs, restaurants & shops. There is no allocated parking attached to the property but we never found it an issue, we always managed to get a spot outside the property or a few cars up. Would 100% recommend. Do not hesitate in booking, you will not be disappointed! We look forward to returning in the future. We stayed as 2 adults and 1 small dog.

  • "Excellent and I always enjoy my stay in your cottage!"

Just a thought- you might like to give reciprocal feedback on how I left the cottage ( as I ensured it was left spotless!) and also you could offer regular visitors to your cottage an earlier check in if available as 5pm is late? However I love the cottage and its facilities and a great position. Thanks (you can edit out my thoughts for publication if you wish)

  • "If you are looking for a base in the Cotswolds this is a first class option."

The property is very well presented with a clear focus on quality and attention to detail from the owners, a real "home from home". The location is perfect if you want a short stroll to a number of pubs providing very good food/drink options. Whilst there is no dedicated parking space outside the property we had no issues finding a space not far away. In addition, there are plenty of interesting walks from the property, ideal if you have a dog. In short, I would highly recommend this property.

This market town defines the saying "good things come in small packages" as it proves itself to be a wonderful place for tourists to stay. Chipping Campden sits in the northern part of the Cotswolds and boasts many historical buildings from St. James' church where the Chipping Camden Music Festival is held every year, to the early 17th century market hall upon which the town prides itself. Not only does the town have a rich history but much more, the high street is laced with charming Cotswold stone buildings with a range of shops and pubs. Nearby there are several beautiful, formal gardens for you to wander through. Chipping Campden has held its own 'Olimpick Games' since the early 1600s including peculiar sports such as 'shin-kicking', most certainly worth lining your holiday up with to experience something so unique. For a dose of famous history, head to the birthplace of William Shakespeare in Stratford-upon-Avon just 12 short miles away, it offers some charming little buildings, bookshops, theatres and museums.
