Tucked away in the leafy village of Farnham Common at the border of Burnham Beeches is this modern, pet friendly, family retreat, Forest Getaway sits in a quiet cul-de-sac on a private residential road only a few metres away from Burnham Beeches, a popular protected Nature Reserve, it is the perfect hidden gem for a country escape or an exciting weekend away.

Treat yourself to an introductory mindfulness session or enjoy follow up activities to you to reconnect with yourself and our beautiful surrounding nature, combined with a range of home-made organic room aromatherapy, designed to energise your body and soul, as a welcome gift you will sample our carefully selected coffee from the village artisan shop where you can visit to discover a little more of our village life.

The house is set over three floors with a lovely garden and good-sized swimming pool to enjoy with the family on hot summer days, while a hot-tub and a wood burning stove ensure your comfort and relaxation continue in the winter months, a spacious hallway with a separate cloakroom toilet leads to the well-equipped Kitchen where delicious home-made meals are prepared for the whole family, with plenty of space and appliances to suit your cooking and baking needs.

The sunken lounge is bright, private, and comfortable, overlooking the garden and the patio with the hot tub, there is also a covered outdoor seating area directly connected to the lounge, which is ideal to sneak out on rainy days, in the lounge, there are also two separate work areas, a glass desk and a bookcase, the utility room has a washing machine and a dryer, all bedrooms are accessed via a staircase leading to the upper floors, on the first floor, there is the main Master Suite with a connected turret area with windows arranged to create relaxing wide-angled views into the garden and the surrounding area, further down the corridor, there are also two more king-size bedrooms, a double bedroom and a shower room, another shower room can be found on the top floor where you will also find the attic suite, with a super-king size bed.

Forest Getaway is a superb base for lovers of the outdoors and sports with its immediate proximity to Burnham Beeches and The Chilterns as well as the golf valley, Farnham Common may be quieter than nearby village high streets such as Marlow, Taplow or Windsor but make sure you always have your ‘right foot’ forward as you never know when you might bump into one of residents - Anton du Beke!

Farnham Common is a quaint village resting in Buckinghamshire, located to the south-west of Gerrards Cross, and a short drive north of Slough. The village joins the rich woodland of Burnham Beeches, a great place for a ramble in nature, whilst also lying within easy reach of three superb golf courses. Dining options within Farnham Common include the traditional British pubs of the Royal Oak, the Stag & Hounds, The Foresters, and The Victoria. For your convenience, there are two local stores to stock up on the essentials, a Tesco Express and Sainsbury Local, and for a wider selection, take a brief car trip into the heart of the towns of Gerrards Cross, which boasts an arthouse cinema and lovely local shops; Slough, for an educational tour of Slough Museum; and Burnham, which straddles the beautiful Burnham Beeches Special Area of Conservation. For a day out, head to Windsor, home to the historic setting of Royal Windsor Castle, the serene greens of the Great Park, as well as an extensive array of independent cafes and restaurants. During your time in Windsor, be sure to book a trip to the Legoland Windsor Resort or pay a visit to the wonderful stream of quaint villages set along the River Thames, such as Taplow, Cliveden and Marlow.
