  • "This is a great property with fantastic facilities, I would thoroughly recommend staying here, we both enjoyed our stay, very clean, modern, well equipped kitchen and private patio area with hot tub, a real sun trap even in September."

A few bits to note for potential holiday makers, if you take a dog there is nowhere at the property to walk your dog in a grassy area, you need to walk along a single track road and join the lake walk, there is a small patch of fake grass (approx 2mx1m) on the gravel area, I only note this because in the description it says the property is set in acres of ground, so I expected to be able to walk the dog in the grounds to go to the toilet. The other 2 areas are the hot tub is set to 37 degrees, I did ask if we could turn it up but unfortunately was informed that they are unable to change this due to HSE restrictions, which was disappointing as this was a bit cool for us and from the information I can find it should be set between 37-38 with a max 40 on the HSE website, I do also understand that some people may prefer the lower 37 degree temp, but have always had the option to adjust on previous rentals. Lastly the shower is very low pressure water form the rainfall, it looks fantastic but practically does not live up to the looks. having said this I have given 5 stars because it is still a great property and I would recommend, I just wanted to give an honest overall feedback.

Thank you so much for the great review of Noflash Malpal. Unfortunately we have horses grazing the fields at this time of year so not suitable for exercising dogs. The adjacent field and public footpath just 3 metres from the entrance are highlighted in the welcome book at the property for dog owners and the lake footpath is 200 meters from the property. The showers also have a higher pressure hand held shower head as the drench experience isn't always suitable. So glad you had some nice weather and enjoyed your time with us, Jon & Sarah Property Owner

  • "Nice property, we was not allocated the right one though, we booked the left side property and got the right side one ."

The layout was not the same as the one we originally booked so was very disappointed. No normal tv channels we had to use a account! No phone signal. Not dog friendly( no where to walk our dogs) The patio was so enclosed NO VIEW to look out on. No sound insulation between the property's we could hear the neighbours as if they was in our property. We came home early ,we booked for 10 days and came home after 5 . We could not get comfortable on the red seating.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We sincerely apologize for the temporary error where images from the owner's other property, were mistakenly displayed. We did reach out prior to your arrival to clarify you had a larger property than shown and we offered to rearrange the layout to better suit your viewing preferences which we did - we regret any confusion this may have caused. In terms of dog-friendliness, while our listing highlights the enclosed front patio, we understand the paddock may have seemed like an option. Although it isn’t listed as accessible, we hope the nearby public footpath just a three metres from the entrance provided a convenient alternative for walks. We’re also sorry to hear that the use of plastic drinkware impacted your comfort. The owners selected high-quality glasses specifically to ensure safety around the hot tubs, and understand this may not have aligned with your expectations. Lastly, regarding the TV channels, complimentary access to BBC, Amazon Prime and Netflix was offered to help enhance your viewing experience, but you chose to decline our offer. The holiday let has high speed wi-fi and access to Wi-fi calling in addition some mobile network carriers receive 5g at the property. Thank you again for sharing your thoughts, we value all feedback. It was lovely to receive a small welcome pack on arrival of milk, tea, coffee and a bottle of fizz! and the hot tub was great after long walks in the beautiful countryside. Jon and Sarah were very welcoming and helpful. We would highly recommend and will definitely be returning for a future visit.

The attention to detail was amazing. The hosts were very welcoming, even leaving little gestures like milk, coffee and prosecco. Hot tub was clean and well maintained.
