    Finished to a very high standard. Bright, clean, spacious, modern, comfortable with beautiful furnishings. Large bedrooms with comfortable beds. Ample living space with enough seats for everyone in the living-room and dining-room. Bright and airy kitchen with everything we needed. Treats for us left by the owner which was very thoughtful. Dog bed, bedding, food and water bowls, and toilet bags which was much appreciated. The driveway accommodated four cars which was great. As a suggestion, although there isnt an enclosed garden, outdoor seating would be nice and gates to secure the driveway as a safety feature for children and dogs. Otherwise this property is first class. Thank you.

    It was spotlessly clean on our arrival. Great base for us visiting family in Belfast while still having a break. Several people have mentioned the dogs being a noise issue, we barely heard them. We would definite go back

  • "Fantastic house with lots of space."

    Only downside is that there is no garden to the back of the property. Only to the front which is used as a parking area. Not a problem in the winter but worth knowing when you come in spring and summer.

    It had everything we needed. Ideal location for local sight seeing. Lots to see and do in the area. Gerard was the perfect host! Very quick to respond to requests, very generous with the best welcome hamper! Very spacious home, note that the only outdoor space is in front, just enough space to park 2, possibly 3 cars. Also, there can be a bit of noise from the dogs next door. But we really enjoyed our stay. Would be very happy to return.

Park up in either of the two off-road parking spaces provided before unloading your bags and making your way inside this lovely dwelling to begin your staycation.

A lengthy journey calls for some well-deserved rest, so upon entry, kick off your shoes in the hallway and make your way through to the spacious sitting room, where you'll find a high-quality leather suite gathered in front of the television, enticing you to put your feet up and unwind with a family-favourite.

Move through the property to the kitchen, well-equipped with a good selection of appliances and stylishly-appointed with an elegant kitchen island, providing a lovely spot to share a bottle of wine as the designated chef whips up delectable meals to be enjoyed in the dining room, with seating for all of the group.

As day draws to night, pour in the bubbles and prepare for bed with an indulgent soak in the tub, or if you'd prefer, make use of the spacious walk-in shower for a quick rinse before heading upstairs to rest your head.

The town of Downpatrick, in County Down, Northern Ireland, is situated 21 miles south of the capital city of Belfast.
The town is where the country’s patron saint, St Patrick is said to have lived. Indeed it is believed that he is buried within the grounds of the town’s Cathedral. The legacy of St Partick is visible today, with the town hosting the St Patrick Visitor Centre, which features interactive displays and exhibits about his life.
The ruins of the nearby Quoile Castle are also worth a visit, while there is also an Arts Centre, Ballynoe Stone Circle and the ruins of Inch Abbey within driving distance of the town centre.
