  • "It's in a gorgeous spot, with views over the harbour - you can't beat it."

So even if the weather isn't ideal you can still look at the view through the window :-). Comfy beds, my daughter said she had the best sleep of her life! And the hosts left a lovely welcoming gift. Highly recommend.

Thanks Nici for your kind words. Glad you enjoyed your stay in Kinvara. Property Owner

  • "The location on Kinvara Quay is stunning with beautiful views across the bay."

Sitting on the bench outside in the evening and watching the activities around the harbour was a highlight. Kinvara itself provided all we needed with a well stocked supermarket (lovely Irish soda bread!) and places to eat. We enjoyed exploring the Burren with its profusion of flowers as well as quiet beach walks. Galway provided a contrast with bustling city streets and lots of live music. The cliffs of Moher visitor centre is well organised to enable wide access to this popular site. The house is well described in the brochure. It met all our needs

Thanks Deborah. Delighted you enjoyed your stay in our little corner of the world. Your feedback is much appreciated. Property Owner

Where you’ll be staying

KINVARA, COUNTY GALWAY

Galway City 18 miles; Burren National Park 7 miles.

A picturesque seaside village in south County Galway, Kinvara is located on the edge of the world renowned "Burren" on Galway Bay. The entrance into Kinvara is marked by Dunguaire Castle, where medieval banquets are still hosted, and the quaint harbour still holds working examples of 'Galway Hookers', the majestic sailing craft which used to sell their wares between Connemara & Kinvara. Home to numerous pubs, shops and eateries, with a renowned farmer’s market every Friday and hosting two festivals celebrating culture and heritage each year, there is no shortage of things to do here. The small city of Galway, affectionately known as the “city of festivals”, with its pretty alleyways and colourful nightlife is within easy reach, and 7 miles away is the Burren National Park and Nature Reserve where animals and plant life are abundant, and there are numerous walking opportunities. A wonderful location, at any time of the year.
