  • "Extremely clean, well maintained and very well equipped."

    Located in a perfect remote location but close enough to facilities, friendly locals, excellent directions for local walks provided (which are very well worth doing). The cottage is perfectly situated for visiting Dartmoor and other other South Devon attractions. A visit to the local pub and tea rooms is a must. If you want a break from the rat race this is an ideal spot.

  • "Lustleigh is a beautiful place."

    Very peaceful. (Roads a little narrow but manageable in our estate) We stayed at Mill Barn with our two dogs. Beautiful little barn conversion. Owners introduced themselves on arrival, lovely couple, but then left us to it. Could call on them if needed. Mill barn is beautifully presented, info pack provided. Heating a bit complicated so didn't bother, log burner lovely, all set up ready to light. Dogs walks right on the door step. Village/shop within walking distance. Everything in the barn appeared to be new and the shower is lovely. I wouldn't say the garden was 100% secure. If you have an escape artist they will get out! Our two needed constant supervision but relaxed into their new environment and loved the walks. Steps down to the barn and stairs down to the bathroom so if you have mobility issues it may not be for you. We would definately stay there again. Thankyou to the owners for a peaceful, relaxing stay.

  • "From first arriving we were impressed with this property."

    The property is well kept and clean. It met all of our expectations and the bed was very comfortable. It you have a dog it’s great for dog walks and general walking with its location. The turning into the property is a little tight if you have a large vehicle.

    The land to the cottage is extremely narrow especially if you have a big car we have a Range Rover and round it very difficult to get in anything longer would have struggled apart from that nice venue and you can walk to pub and cafe

  • "Lustleigh barn is an absolute gem, perfect for a couple and their dog."

    We were there during the August heatwave, but the barn stayed cool and a beautiful place to sit and take in the gorgeous valley surrounding it. There was everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. The owners Simon and Michele were just lovely, there if we needed them but happy to leave us to enjoy ourselves. Lustleigh village is a picture postcard village, with thatched cottages and stunning church. The Cleve Inn is a 10 minute walk and is a wonderful place to enjoy a Summers evening and dog friendly. There is a beautiful orchard, where we watched the solar eclipse with such friendly people, which dogs can be walked in on a lead, and plenty of other walks on the doorstep too. We had a magical week at this amazing barn and could quite happily stayed longer, hopefully we will get chance to return A million thanks to Simon and Michele..
