  • "We’ve stayed in a lot of places in Lyme but this was by far the best."

    Lovely bright, airy and clean accommodation in a great location with parking. Garage fitted our A4 estate car which is a bonus and not always easy in Lyme! The welcome hamper is always a lovely touch. Only thing we could have done with was another set of keys for when we went off separately but we managed. Would definitely come back!

  • "We have stayed at this property c."

    4 times and whilst it is spacious and clean , there are details that rankle. 1. The tv is not intuitive to operate and we struggled till we found an ad hoc scrap of paper with instructions for operation. 2. The Welcome manual was not on display and tucked away in a drawer - luckily, due to previous visits, we knew what we were looking for . 3. There were no bath mats - frankly dangerous and we purchased some . 4. En suite bedroom- bathroom door doesn’t lock , sink plug doesn’t work properly. 5. The 3 piece suite - cheap and uncomfortable compared to old one ! A well located spacious clean property but in view of the above and price hike on previous years , will reconsider our options .

    Thank you for your feedback on our holiday home and for choosing this property so many times. We are sorry that there were no bath mats, which can only have been an over sight. We have raised this with housekeeping to prevent a repeat. Lyme Bay Holidays is available to rectify any issues like this during your stay and would have been more than happy to drop some in to you. We have asked that the welcome manual be left in its usual prominent position on the coffee table, and that the TV instructions be included within that manual. We have also asked maintenance to attend to the ensuite, again the Lyme Bay Holidays team is available during your stay if any maintenance issues arise. We are sorry that you didn't like out smart new sofas and chair, sadly the old corner sofa wore out and had to be replaced, based on guest feedback.   • "I always choose this place for 3 reasons : - It has a garage… parking in Lyme Regis can be very difficult especially in busy periods."

    - It is literally 5 minutes walk from the sea. - It is a very spacious flat, practical and comfortable.

  • "The flat smells badly of gas and damp."

    lt is much shabbier inside and out than it looks in the photos. Most of the furniture is cheap and aging and the carpet in the living room needs cleaning. This is the second property we have booked through Lyme Bay Holidays and will be the last as neither property lived up to the description or to the ratings of other guests. There is some kind of animal living in the roof above the last bedroom. It was impossible to sleep in there due to loud scratching at night. The washing machine had foul water lying in it and even after we ran an empty cycle, it still had a foul smell. We didn’t use it. We had to buy batteries to get the heating thermostat and the TV remote control to work. This was explained in the flat information file but should obviously be checked before new guests arrive! My husband had to remove the bodies of 2 dead rats lying in front of the garage. The neighbour removed a third. There appears to be a problem there. The only thing we enjoyed was the location.

  • "The property itself was exactly as described, really spacious and really well stocked with everything we needed."

    The location was 10/10 being central to everything and within walking distance of the town, beaches, shops and pubs. The welcome hamper was a lovely touch and the items included much appreciated. Some feedback on just a few things that could do with some attention. The sofa has seen better days and the end two seats are broken, meaning that you gradually slide between the seats. Whenever anyone turned on a hot tap or the shower, the boiler in the loving space makes a loud rattling noise. Not sure what this was but again could maybe benefit from being looked at. Great that a garage is provided and we noted that dimensions were provided on the website but maybe just a note to add that it fits small to medium sized cars. We wouldn't have been able to fit our SUV and be able to get out the vehicle once parked in there. The garage was also blocked by a parked car when we arrived so we had to knock on doors to find the owner and ask them to move it. Just to add, none of the above dampened our stay and are just some suggestions for improvement. Overall, we had a great few days.

    The 2 bathrooms were essential for our large party although the main bedroom wasn’t big enough to fit a cot. The apartment had all the facilities that we needed although I’m not sure the DVD worked. Would definitely stay in the property again!

  • "This was a superb property by far the best we have stayed in within Lyme Regis, the property was spotless, had everything you could possibly need."

    There is just so much space and the added bonus of a garage for the car. The welcome pack on a arrival was brilliant it just added that little extra and took away all the stress of quickly buying milk and tea bags for the well needed cuppa on arrival. Already planning the return and would not stay anywhere else.

Settled into the quaint seaside of Lyme Regis, Dorset, and only a short drive from a variety of beaches, 2 Mill Green Court is the perfect holiday home for families looking to explore the wonders of Dorset.

You will be met with a quirky green-blue cottage and encouraged to climb the steps to the front door to make yourself at home.

Enter into an open-plan living space where you will instantly be drawn to the sitting area, with a variety of sofas and a colourful rug, as well as a smart wooden floor that stretches throughout the whole of the living area.

There is a contemporary kitchen perfect for any budding chef who wishes to try out some local produce, serving it on the wooden dining table, and the social atmosphere of this light and spacious room means that you can enjoy cooking, eating and a family games night together.
