    The cottage was excellent in every aspect-: comfortable, clean, everything needed for a relaxing enjoyable stay. The owners attention to detail and their kind attention was v much appreciated.The cottage is excellently situated with a half hourly train link up/down the estuary on the doorstop! Jams is a charming barn conversion situated in the heart of Lympstone, Devon.

Perfect for families or groups of friends, this family-friendly retreat offers convenient access to local amenities, with a train station in the heart of the village and bus services nearby, as well as a cycle track and village shop just a short stroll away.

Upon entering this two-storey abode, you will be greeted by the heart of the home; the living/dining room, where you can sink into one of the two plush sofas and tune into the Smart TV, or gather around the dining table which easily seats four for a home-cooked meal or a competitive board game.

Lympstone is a village and civil parish in East Devon. There is a harbor on the estuary of the River Exe, lying at the outlet of Wotton Brook between cliffs of red breccia. It is locally known for Peter’s Tower, a riverfront brick clock tower built in the 19th century which serves as a memorial by W.H. Peters to his wife. The Exeter to Exmouth cycle route passes through the village and is popular for commuters and brings custom to the shop, café and pubs in the village. Local attractions include Nutwell Park, Exmouth & Orcombe Point Walk and Crealy Adventure Park & Resort. Lympstone is 3 miles north of Exmouth and 3 miles south of Woodbury.
