The property

Tidal Waters is a magnificent detached reverse-level home resting in the quaint village of Noss Mayo, enjoying pretty tidal views in Devon.

With off-road parking and space for one furry friend, this exceptional base is a rare find for large groups and those with young children, seeking somewhere to call home to an area littered with a plethora of things to see and do.

On the ground floor, you’ll find a lovely double bedroom with its own en-suite bathroom, complete with a bath and a shower over.

There are also two twin rooms and another double bedroom, all set up for catching your night's sleep.

The dining area has lots of seating, and there’s a desk for reading or catching up on work.

The sitting room is a warm and welcoming space, with a TV and a stunning woodburning stove for cooler evenings.

You can step out onto the balcony from here and take in the lovely views.

Outside, the balcony is furnished and comes with a barbecue, ideal for enjoying alfresco meals during warm summer evenings while soaking up the fresh Devon air.

Take some time to explore the picturesque village of Noss Mayo, tucked away along the banks of the Yealm Estuary.

This charming spot is home to two riverside pubs serving food and drinks, perfect for a relaxing meal with a view.

There's also a nearby shop where you can pick up any daily essentials.

If you’d rather stay on land, why not head to the village tennis courts for a friendly match, or enjoy a peaceful walk through National Trust woodland - an ideal outing for you and your dog.

For something a little different, hop on the foot ferry for a scenic coastal walk to Wembury Beach.

You could also visit Mothecombe Beach, a beautiful and film-worthy spot that’s well worth the trip.

Dartmoor National Park is just a short drive away and offers endless opportunities for hiking and exploring.

For a change of pace, the city of Plymouth is slightly further afield and makes a great day out with its shops, Marine Aquarium, and the historic Barbican quayside.

Newton Ferrers 1 mile; Plymouth 10 miles.

The charming creek side village of Noss Mayo is hidden away on the banks of the beautiful Yealm Estuary. The area is blessed with many coastal and countryside walks. Local beaches, Stoke and Cellars are just a three-quarters of a mile walk. The village is home to two excellent waterside pubs with river views, both of which offer superb meals using the best of local produce.
Across the water, the village of Newton Ferrers, which has a local butcher, chemist, Post Office and general grocery store, may be reached on foot via causeways at low tide. A seasonal ferry also operates between Noss Mayo, Newton Ferrers and the SW coastal path to Wembury. The surrounding South Hams area is well known for its award-winning, sandy beaches and also for the breath-taking beauty of the Dartmoor National Park. All are all within easy reach, as are interesting towns and villages such as Totnes, Salcombe, Dartington and Modbury. The city of Plymouth with its shops, Marine Aquarium and Barbican quayside area is just 10 miles away.
