"Beautiful cottage in a picturesque village."
Good location.
Did feel a little pressured by the next door neighbour. We hadn't even unpacked our car and he came out to talk about the local area and history ! Nice information but at least let us settle in!
Neighbour also banged on the door one early evening to inform us we couldn't park in the designated area as water work was being done the next day. He then said as long as we move our car first thing the next morning we could leave it parked outside!
We had a lovely time at Sunday cottage but the neighbour was a little inconvenient!

"This was our second visit to Sunday Cottage, we are very grateful for the milk, biscuits and cake that were waiting for us on arrival."
The property was spotlessly clean and it's very comfortable. Our only observation is that the courtyard does let the property down slightly and could do with some attention, a jet wash of the walls and paving would make the area more inviting and also repair the screen which hides the fuel tank which would make the area aesthetically more pleasing but for us this was not an issue. We will be back!

"Beautiful village."
..beautiful cottage....
could do with short list of instructions on usage of cooker/oven etc.
And perhaps a few standard condiments/oil etc ...not much, just to start....
The next door neighbour Patrick was a delightful help and advisor!

"The property was very clean and well presented."
It was lovely to have the scones, clotted cream and jam as well as milk and water waiting for us. Our only suggestions would be a tea towel for the kitchen and maybe a shower caddy. Any one with a back issue would struggle with having to put shower gel etc on the floor. These are merely observations and certainly not complaints. It is a beautiful cottage in a stunning location and we hope to be back in the near future. We thank the owners very much for ensuring the property was as described. It certainly justified then great reviews.

"Lovely, comfortable cottage."
Very clean. Bed was probably the best we've ever had and so spacious. Nice shower. Nice touch having milk and a cream tea there on arrival.
Outside space could do with a jetwash.
Kitchen scissors need replacing, weren't sharp enough to trim bacon.

"We had a lovely time at Sunday Cottage, friendly and charming village, New inn pub was equally friendly and good food."
Parking was a little tight at times. Cottage was very clean and we had everything we needed. Location was convenient to explore central Devon including Dartmoor. Castle Drogo was a highlight. Scones, flowers and milk in the fridge was a lovely touch . We will definitely be returning. Thank you Elsa

"Superb cottage in the beautiful village of Sampford Courtenay."
Turn off the main road and you are transported back into an age of stunning thatched-roofed cottages. The cottage had all the amenities you require while away from home and a very comfortable super king-size bed. Thank you

"Appreciated the clean and comfortable cottage we were very happy and comfortable there."
Would have liked step by step hand written instructions in lay man terms on how to use dishwasher and oven . For example dishwasher instructions ambiguously tell you about buttons 1and 2 but they are blank! Eventually managed dishwasher. However, I Gave up on the oven just too complicated to use. Discussed with my daughter in law about this and she said she had had same types of problems with modern appliances. Next time I will take my air fryer quick and so easy to use don’t even need instruction book. Hope feedback helps thank you for a lovely stay in cottage in friendly village.

"A beautiful cottage in an excellent location for visiting both North and South Devon."
The facilities were second to none. If I have one very small comment it's that the steps between the kitchen and lounge are quite steep and perhaps could benefit from a handrail to help those less mobile. We certainly wouldn't hesitate to stay again when visiting the area.
Thank you so much for the lovely comment. We are delighted to hear you enjoyed your stay and look forward to welcoming you back on the future.

"Sunday Cottage was a really lovely place to stay."
The beds were huge and so comfortable and the cottage was very spacious for four people. It would have been useful if some washing-up liquid, cloth and dishwasher tabs had been provided as there was nothing to wash any of the dishes with. Or we should have been notified to bring our own? There was also only 3 cereal bowls (maybe the 4th was broken) so more crockery would have been useful.
Thank you for the feedback. We normally do leave a welcome cleaning pack and I am really sorry that you did not find one on arrival. I wish you had let me know. This must have been an oversight on my behalf of which I am truly sorry. We are delighted that you enjoyed your stay at Sunday Cottage.

"Great cottage in a lovely village with a cosy pub."
Opposite the church and we enjoyed hearing the bells on the hour. Parking was on the road opposite and was always a space without a problem. Friendly and helpful neighbours too. The cottage has everything you'd need and more, thanks for a great stay!
