The compact kitchen area provides the essentials for preparing simple meals, including an induction hob, microwave, cool box, kettle and toaster, while the fold-down dining table offers a handy spot for dining together.

The double bed awaits when evening falls, providing a restful place to recharge before another day exploring the local area.

Completing the accommodation is a shower room with a walk-in electric shower, basin and WC.

In the heart of Tarka country in the rolling valleys of North Devon, lies the small village of Umberleigh, a quiet village set around the old three arched Umberleigh bridge by the River Taw. Near the pretty village square with its pub serving local ales and village shop and post office, is the quaint railway station where trains run on the scenic Tarka Line to Barnstaple or Exeter. A ten minute drive from Umberleigh takes you to the historic town of Great Torrington, with independent shops, Dartington glassworks where visitors can watch in wonder at the glassblowers, and on the outskirts of town is Rosemoor a garden of national importance with forty acres to delight and inspire a wide range of visitors.
