  • "A beautiful, immaculate and spacious property with everything you could possibly need from a holiday home."

    The children especially enjoyed the games room in the nearby barn. The owners, who live nearby, are friendly and helpful and we had a peaceful and relaxing week visiting beaches and local attractions.

  • "We were very happy with accommodation, eight adults 3 children and dogs."

    The secure back garden allowed the dogs freedom and was great for the many evening barbecues we enjoyed. Our hosts were very friendly and helpful with local recommendations. A tip for new arrivals would be to use what three words rather than satnav to guide you to the farm. Our satnav advised our arrival over a mile away. Comfortable well equipped accommodation and amazing star gazing on a clear night. We would definitely look to return at some point.

  • "What a brilliant find Hare Barn was!"

    A beautiful property with exceptional facilities in a great location. A complete home from home and so well equipped that it lacked nothing our large party needed. The owners live on site, were warm, welcoming and nothing was too much trouble if we had any queries. The welcome provisions were thoughtfully provided for humans and furries alike. Our three dogs had a safe outside space and adjacent fields for walks. The four teenagers appreciated the games room and made full use of it. Parking was plentiful and nearby which was much appreciated by those of us with disabilities. This is without doubt the nicest property we have stayed in and we’ve already recommended it to friends. Our thanks go to the owners for exceptional service and customer care.

  • "We had a lovely time at Hare Barn."

    10 of us stayed, 6 adults, 4 Children and our 2 dogs we had plenty of room. The Barn has everything you need it’s so well stocked and the little extras like dog basket with towels, treats and blankets make you feel really welcome. Our munchkins loved the popcorn maker and the cinema screen so movie nights were a must

  • "We really enjoyed our stay at Hare Barn!"

    The property was lovely, clean and very well stocked, which was brilliant as we cooked Christmas dinner. There were some thoughtful personal touches upon arrival such as milk, hot chocolate and local juice and the owners were extremely accommodating! Our two teenagers loved the games room, the area is beautiful and we would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend!

Lifton is a small village in the upper Tamar Valley, close to Launceston and the passing A30 road into Cornwall. This pretty community, once sitting astride the old A30 London to Penzance trunk road, is blessed with a village shop and post office, a superb pub and 3 top quality restaurants. At the far end of the village is an award winning farm shop/pick-your-own complex with a good bakery and on-site restaurant. Well placed for visiting anywhere in the South West, Dartmoor is 20 minutes away by car, Bodmin Moor is also 30 minutes and all of the major beaches and Cornish holiday attractions can be reached in under 45 minutes.
