  • "The property was very comfortable, clean and well equipped."

Perfect for a family seaside holiday and so close to the sea front. Lyme Regis itself was just delightful. We were glad we didn’t take our dogs though as having no garden would have made life difficult.

So pleased you enjoyed your holiday in Lyme Regis and had a comfortable stay. The property dates from the 1700s and like most of the other properties in Monmouth Street has no outside space. We are fortunate that there is a communal garden in the square opposite the house with easy access for everyone. We hope that you might visit again. Property Owner

  • "Bed in main room was uncomfortable- parking just to unpack and repack the car was a night mare ."

Cups Plates and cutlery were dirty ( poss from last user).house smells damp . Positives close to the beach and small local shops . Lovely and quiet at night .

We're sorry to hear that previous guests didn't leave the crockery clean for your arrival. The house is located on a narrow street, which can be busy with pedestrians during the daytime. We hope you enjoyed the beaches. The Lyme Bay Team Property Owner

  • "A really great place to stay."

Super location, with easy access to the town, beach and local walks. The house was clean, comfortable, well-resourced and well-maintained. Spread over 4 floors, with a games room in the basement, it was perfect for our group of three mums and three teens.

We're glad to hear that you all had a great stay. Property Owner

  • "Enjoyed the stay with a place nearly 300 yrs old."

The bunk bed room very small so really ideal for children. We have stayed at many places in Lyme. Only thing missing was some oven gloves Thanks

So pleased that you enjoyed your stay at Lyme. I am so sorry that the oven gloves were missing. I can only assume that housekeeping had them in for laundry as we had provided 3 sets at the beginning of the season. Thanks for letting us know. Property Owner

  • "Lovely house, all beautifully prepared and appreciated the local produce!"

Dishwasher isn’t really big enough or very efficient - but otherwise all great, thank you

  • "Beautiful old property."

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! It was conveniently located for the beach, restaurants and fossil hunting. The only downside were the noisy seagulls at night time and early in the morning (which I know can't be helped). We hope to visit again, thank you.

  • "Lovely house in a great position."

Very well equipped. I think you should make it clear that there is no garden.

So pleased you enjoyed the property during your holiday at Lyme and glad that the weather was good. The majority of these older fisherman’s cottages have no outside space in Monmouth Street. There is an enclosed communal garden in the Square for everyone to use. We trust that you will come back to beautiful Lyme Regis. Property Owner
