A gorgeous, semi-detached, single-storey, barn conversion, one of two holiday cottages on site.
Nestling in the grounds of the owner’s farmhouse, in a rural location close to the village of West Knoyle and set on the Wiltshire side of the border with Dorset, this is a wonderful holiday cottage.
Beautifully presented throughout, this charming holiday cottage offers couples, or small family groups, a really comfortable and cosy holiday retreat.
Inside, you’ll find a delightful sitting room with bi-folding doors overlooking the nearby farmland, with a small sunny patio offering a super place to enjoy refreshments whilst planning your day out.
Alternatively, when the evening chill sends you indoors, you can snuggle up with a good book or take in your favourite TV show in front of the warming woodburner-style, flame-effect gas fire.
Both pretty bedrooms have en-suite facilities, so there’s no queuing up for the bathroom in the morning!
Plus there’s a small but very well-fitted kitchen, equipped with everything you need to prepare delicious meals.
There are lovely walks straight from the door whilst a visit to the nearby Bison Farm, offering 30 acres of oak woodland walks and a chance to try out bison snacks should you wish, makes for a wonderful day out!
Within an easy drive you can take in the stunning house, safari park and gardens of Longleat, the National Trust’s Stourhead House, and award-winning gardens.
Alternatively, why not explore the Saxon hilltop town of Shaftesbury, ancient Stonehenge, the medieval cathedral city of Salisbury or regal Bath?
In fact there’s so much to do, a week isn’t nearly long enough!
A lovely rural holiday cottage providing a wonderful year round touring base.
Note: The cottage is next to Ref. 20754, together they sleep 6.
