  • "This is a little star of a property."

Very clean and well maintained. Lovely clean crockery and cutlery. Excellent location for all the facilities that Poole has to offer.

  • "One of the best if not the best accomodation we have stayed in over the years."

Lovely house, key safe meant we could come & go independently of each other. Ideally situated close to shops, cafes, Poole park just around the corner, right on the quay. Short walk to the bus station via coast or via shops. Public transport really good & reliable having used the buses every day to visit a variety of places. Gluten Free options generally widely available to us both. Would definitely consider coming to stay again.

  • "Excellent property and very helpful owners - we did not understand the instruction to turn left into the car park because of the way it was displayed on my iPhone."

A quick phone call and it was instantly resolved.

  • "Easy to locate on receipt of instructions."

Off road parking fine for my medium Focus but anything larger would’ve been tight through short walled entrance off side road. Cottage met our needs for our stay. Nice outdoor patio area, open fence didn’t bother us as some previous reviews have mentioned, as you can see parts of harbour towards Brownsea Island and park area with kit flying, dog walking which was fine on an early summers evening (actual visit early June 2025) Only issue is storage in 2nd/twin room is insufficient. The ‘wardrobe’ stores the boiler and didn’t give much hanging space nor were there any drawers in the room. Luckily main bedroom provided both which the family shared during stay. Situated about 10-15 minutes walk from The Quay in Poole with restaurants and tourist facilities easily accessible. Main shopping centre set back another 10 mins walk. Nice area to wander.

  • "A grab handle would be useful in the bathroom for getting in and out of the shower, also a wall tray for putting shower bits on."

A couple of hooks in the bathroom for hanging dressing gowns on etc behind the door, and in the kitchen for hanging up a hand towel and drying cloth. Just suggestions as we love the property and have used it several times now, and god willing will continue to.
