  • "We had a lovely stay here."

    A really super apartment on two levels. Every comfort was provided and also a lovely welcome pack. I cannot fault the accommodation: Clean, bright and spacious with very comfortable beds and a super kitchen and bathrooms. I cannot fault it. A really central position too, close to shops and the seafront. A really enjoyable stay. Many thanks to Lyme Bay Holidays for their care and their courtesy call and to the owners for providing such comfortable accommodation. Would definitely book again. And Lyme is as beautiful as it was when I first visited nearly 50 years ago. One of our favourite places.

  • "Top appartement, waar wij al voor de 3e kwamen."

    Hele fijne plaats, rustig en toch direct bij alle voorzieningen. Enig minpunten zijn de bedden, deze zijn smal en liggen niet heel comfortabel.

  • "This is our second stay at No."

    2, 26 Broad Street and we love it. A large, modern, bright, comfortable apartment in a fantastic location. The use of a parking space in the NCP opposite is a massive bonus. We were lucky to have good weather so enjoyed use of the patio area off the kitchen. I am reluctant to recommend this property because I want to save it for myself!!! The only negative is that the boiler was switched off when we arrived, which we didn't realise. So we had no heating or hot water for a day until we realised, then worked out how to switch the boiler on. The same for the heated towel rails. I would've expected the boiler to be on for when guests arrived (or clear instructions) as I'm sure it's not ideal having guests fiddling with it. However this did not take away from our wonderful long weekend stay at Lyme Regis at No.2, 26 Broad St...we will definitely be back, thank you.

  • "The property was spacious and well equipped."

    It’s great being able to open doors to let fresh air in. The beds were comfy and two bathrooms makes it much easier. The internal steps were fine for us but some people might struggle. We chose the property for its location near shops, restaurants and a couple of minutes to the seafront. It’s really useful to be across the road from a Tesco express and the free parking space was brilliant. We parked the car up (they are tight spots!) and left it all week. The upstairs terrace was a bit grubby but we cleaned it up. All in all it was a good central base to stay.

    Very well equipped kitchen. Car parking provided in NCP opposite most welcome. Perfect location for beach and all Lyme Regis has to offer.

  • "Voor de 2e keer in dit appartement verbleven, heerlijk!"

    Dichtbij alle voorzieningen. Ideaal kleine supermarkt aan de overkant van de straat. Op loopafstand naar het strand, een heerlijke ijsjes. Wij komen zeker een derde keer terug!

  • "I found trying to speak to someone at Lyme Bay offices frustrating, due to the automated phone system and use of WhatsApp."

    It was vet impersonal. The apartment was as advertised. Clean, warm, comfortable, great open plan space. Had a problem with the oven, which made cooking Christmas dinner a challenge, I have already reported this to Lyme Bay holidays. Everyone had a great time.

    The owners have now put a brand new oven and dishwasher into the property. Thankyou for your feedback. Property Owner

  • "Very nice appartment."

    Very good location. Everything you need is there and in good working order. Very comfortable for 2 couples. The goody bag which was there when we arrived was well appreciated. Second time we have been there and we will certainly return again.

  • "Good property in a central location but some of the facilities are a bit tired ..."

    Good property in a central location but some of the facilities are a bit tired like the main bed where mattress needs replacing Also the bin bag in the kitchen bin had a massive hole in the bottom which meant we had to clean it up when we left Also the WiFi very poor and incorrect code in the details inside the flat

  • "Nice, spacious, clean and comfortable property on a perfect location."

    We had some problems finding the wifi codes, but Lymebay Holidays sorted that quicly out for us. Parking permit for the public parking was very handy. Bed in the main bedroom could use a firmer matrass and the head frame is a little loose. That was not a big problem for us but maybe maintenance can take look at it. Just a screw missing i think. Heating and warm water was perfect. The kitchen was fully equipped. We enjoyed our stay and next time we ll try to get this propery again.

  • "Beautifully designed accommodation."

    The bifold doors have become rather stiff to move in places. Particularly the right hand one in the sitting room. We could not find any instructions for the cooker or microwave. The arrangements for rubbish/recycling are rather worrying. Can we be reassured that all the mixed refuse we took down to the rubbish room(as per the instructions), is not going directly to landfill please ?

    Many thanks for your comments. We will look at the doors next time we are down for an owner visit. The instructions for all appliances are in the folder which is located in the lounge area. We agree that the recycling issue has also been a concern for us but due to the small bin storage area for all 4 flats we have been unable to have separate bins for recycling. We have recently managed to negotiate the use of an extra store by the letterboxes and we are in the process of setting up recycling bins with the council. Property Owner
