• "My friend and I found the apartment really comfortable."

  It was a 'home from home' and we will definitely be back. Comfy beds, great shower, very quiet and peaceful which was a bonus and only a short drive to Bridport. Expect peace and quiet but no views to speak of. Also remember to take soap for the shower. I'd be back earlier but the week I'd like to go is fully booked! Brilliant 'goodie bag'. Highly recommend.

• "A very nice apartment close to the sea with everything you’re likely to need for however long you stay."

• "This was our second stay at 2 Driftwood."

  The apartment is really comfortable, warm and clean. As we stayed for 2 weeks, we would liked to have had another tea towel available (we didn’t bother to use the dishwasher for the 2 of us), also hand towels for use in the bathrooms would be helpful. It would be great if there was a smart TV, just to make the stay even more enjoyable.

We've now upgraded the SMART TV facility with an amazon firestick to enhance the accommodation. We also contacted Lymebay Holidays who manage the apartment in regards to your feedback about the towels. They have informed us that this was their oversight and you should have had further linen, due to your 2 week stay. It is our understanding that they have written to you to apologise for this inconvenience and also to offer you a goodwill gesture. • "Very clean, lots of info, books to read, games to play toys etc."

  Welcome bag very nice touch, Fudge (mmm) Biscuits Tea Coffee, and milk. Very well equiped, with extras that you wouldn't expect, washing up liquid, spray, soap. Excellent location, swimming pool opposite, plenty of places to eat. Would definately go again. Only thing that lets it down is the view but as you are so close to beach you can walk the fudge off to see it. :-))

• "Lovely spacious and clean apartment which is perfectly located for walking the Southwest Coastal path."

  The kitchen is really well equipped, bed very comfortable and the welcome pack was amazing. The only negative is that the view on one side is several blocks of flats and on the other side the caravan park.

• "This was our second stay and we like the location and the facilities in the apartment."

  Unfortunately I suffer from arthritis now and we had some problems getting the luggage up the stairs will probably look for a place with a lift next time. Since there were three of us and we weren't together all the time a second set of keys would have been useful. Also the duvets were winter weight so we couldn't use them as it was hot during our stay. Appreciated the welcome pack though and overall had a good week.

• "The apartment is in a wonderful central location in West Bay."

  All facilities and equipment at the property were of high quality. Spotlessly clean, very comfortable beds and living room area. Only thing to suggest would be provision of an apron in the kitchen.

• "2 Driftwood is a lovely, well-appointed apartment which is excellent for a relaxing stay."

  The compromise of a lack of sea-view is no hardship as the location is very convenient for all the amenities & walks. Lyme Bay Holidays provided an excellent service for any requirements we had. Our only disappointment is that we couldn't spend another week there.

• "The apartment was very clean and tidy."

  We liked the layout very much. The welcome pack was a very nice touch. A couple of minor points: 1. Clearer instructions as to the location of the meter box. 2. A shelf in the shower cubicle would be handy.

• "A full length mirror would be an asset as would something in the shower to hold your gel, shampoos etc as an older person i felt quite unsafe having to keep bending down to retrieve the toiletries."

• "There was no sea view as listed in the property details, only view was of the bins and caravan park opposite."

  But this would not put us off booking the same apartment again. Also hard to find the meter cupboard for the key, you should tell people it is floor level , found it eventually after calling the office. Apart from this we had a great stay perfect location. Thank you

Lymebay Holidays have recently joined Sykes holidays: Both have apologised for their oversight in listing a 'seaview', which we, as owners, have never stated: this has now been corrected on their websites. Please accept ours and their apologies too and as you know our apartment is very well situated, being just a 2 minute stroll to the seafront and harbour.
