  • "Patio doors from this one bed apartment open directly onto a small patio overlooking the harbour which is which is fabulous."

However inside the apartment not so fabulous. The curtains in the lounge were coming away from the curtain tape, probably caused by the fact the curtains wouldn’t slide easily on the track and kept getting jammed everytime they were opened or closed. Other than the patio doors there is only one other opening window in the bedroom which was locked and no key to open it, so no ventilation at night. We were very grateful to the lady who came to check if we were ok and brought us a couple of fans. Think she was a friend of the owner. She didn’t know where the key was. Insufficient crockery in the kitchen meant the dishwasher had to go on each night. No corkscrew, only 3 glass tumblers. The others are plastic!! Work needs to be done in the bathroom. Nowhere to hang towels, clothes or leave your wash bag. Everything had to go on the floor. A couple of hooks and shelves would sort this. The sealant around the floor tiles looked like it hadn’t been smoothed out when first done and was dirty and discoloured. Mould in the corner of the shower. It would not take a lot to transform this apartment and make it into a much nicer holiday rental. We wouldn’t go back

Very disappointed with this review but we are always grateful for feedback. This was the hottest week in UK history and many properties and guests struggled with it. The key for the window had gone missing along with the corkscrew. The window now has a replacement lock and key. There is now a corkscrew. The lady who called was in fact the housekeeper and cleaner doing her usual job of looking after our guests and she went out and purchased two fans for you, one for the bedroom and one for the lounge. This is the first negative review for this property but we have accepted the comments and already made changes. The curtains have been replaced which had been broken by previous clients along with the missing corkscrew. The plastic glasses are for outside use and clearly we have had some breakage or missing glasses and these have now been topped up. Work will be done on the bathroom at the next changeover, we have already put in a towel rail and shelf. We are truly sorry you have had cause to complain and that your stay was not as enjoyable as you would have liked. Property Owner
