  • "We were a three generation family group and the house provided everything we needed for our short stay."

We loved the colourful mid century modern decor. The rooms were light and airy. Despite the terrible heat the house remained cool because we were able to open the balcony and French doors. The lovely little shaded garden was a perfect place to relax and eat. Beach and harbour just a few minutes away and lots to see in Christchurch including the amazing Abbey. Plenty of places to eat out, including the Nelson quite literally a couple of minutes walk from the house. The only slight problem for us was the positioning of the bathrooms. My husband and I are fit 75+ but found the two flights of stairs a bit daunting. We opted for the smaller double bedroom so that we only had one flight to deal with and used the wet room as our bathroom. This is something to consider for anyone with mobility problems. Otherwise a perfect base for a family holiday.

  • "Spacious house, easy parking in a good location."

Lots of interesting places to visit nearby and very good places to eat. Small leak from roof in seating area which drips on arm of sofa. Overall we had a great holiday and would happily stay at the property again.

  • "We had a lovely weekend here."

The house has a really well-planned open layout downstairs and cute courtyard garden. Bedrooms are comfortable and the two balconies are a really nice feature too. Nicely furnished with touches that make it feel really homely too. The location of the house is brilliant, even better than we'd expected. It's so close to Mudeford Quay and the beach, within easy walking distance.

We’re so pleased you enjoyed your weekend in Mudeford, Clare. Rachel x Property Owner

  • "We noticed a leak from the glass roof within the first few hours and managed to put some bowls around to catch the leaks."

We contacted the caretaker for the property to report it. It looked like it had happened previously as there was a sofa stained which was slightly disapointing.

Hi Ross. We’re sorry you experienced leaking. We’ve done extensive investigations while it’s been raining this week and no leaking has occurred. The only thing we can think of is that the roof window must’ve been slightly open. We’re glad you enjoyed your stay anyway. Thanks. Rachel Property Owner
