The property

Loxley Barn is a beautifully converted Grade II listed farmhouse dating back to the 16th century, tucked within the grounds of Loxley Farm along a quiet country lane.

This characterful retreat blends historic charm with modern touches, creating an inviting space for couples or small families.

Inside, the ground floor features a stone-floored entrance leading to a compact kitchenette equipped with fridge/freezer, microwave with grill, slow cooker, steamer, toaster, kettle, and cafetière—ideal for preparing light meals.

A stylish bathroom offers a walk-in shower, basin, and WC, with toiletries and towels included. Upstairs, the open-plan living area is bathed in natural light and includes a large bedroom with a double bed and single bed, plus a small double sofa bed downstairs for added flexibility.

Entertainment comes courtesy of a Smart TV, Bluetooth, and internet access, alongside books, games, and puzzles for relaxed evenings.

Outdoors, a private south-facing garden invites alfresco dining, complete with a summerhouse, covered porch, and wildlife views. When it’s time to explore, the Chiltern Hills and canal paths offer scenic walks, while nearby attractions include Waddesdon Manor, Ashridge Estate, Whipsnade Zoo, and the Roald Dahl Museum.

For day trips, Tring Brewery and charming market towns are within easy reach, and London is accessible via Tring or Cheddington station.

Whether you’re unwinding in the garden or discovering local heritage, Loxley Barn provides a distinctive and tranquil base for your countryside escape.
