The property

Post Cottage is a delightful cottage resting in Arisaig, Scotland, blessed with breath-taking views across the bay, roadside parking, and two inviting courtyard spaces for outdoor dining.

Created as a romantic bolthole for two, it’s a well-presented retreat with a traditional feel, where the scenery does as much of the talking as the interiors. Arrive and let the pace soften as you step into the open-plan living space, a sociable hub for slow mornings and unhurried evenings.

The kitchen is well equipped with everything needed for an easy self-catered stay, while the dining area sets the scene for suppers and lingering breakfasts as you plan the day ahead.

After a day of exploring, settle into the sitting area together with the Smart TV, then wander upstairs to the first-floor snug; a peaceful hideaway made for stretching out with a book and drinking in those far-reaching bay views. When it’s time to turn in, an inviting king-size bedroom awaits, with a sleek shower room on hand for a refreshing start to each new adventure.

Outside, the front courtyard catches the light beautifully; take your coffee to the bench and watch the bay shift with the weather.

To the rear, the second courtyard offers patio furniture and a barbecue, ideal for long, easy evenings outdoors. With a shop and pub just a short walk away, spontaneity comes naturally, and beautiful walks begin right from the doorstep.

Venture further afield to Morar for the Silver Sands of Morar, or make a day trip to Glenfinnan and Fort William for a change of scene.

For something truly memorable, set out on ferry trips to Skye, Eigg, and Rum, returning to your bay-view haven at the end of the day.

Whatever you choose, Post Cottage in Arisaig is a wonderful base for a Highland escape.

Note: This property has a Good Housekeeping bond of £100.
