  • "Barclay Cottage is a little gem."

The accommodation has everything you need for a week away. Lynn, the owner, was there to greet us and show us around the cottage. She also gave us tips and advice about the surrounding area, and was on hand if there were any issues, which is always reassuring. The welcome pack was appreciated, especially the delicious homemade lemon drizzle cake and the Yorkshire Tea. The kitchen is very well stocked with utensils, as well as dishwasher tablets and washing machine tablets. The bed is very comfortable and the bathroom has a supply of toiletries, just like a hotel! Thanks Lynn for making our holiday extra special.

Thank you SO much for such a lovely, positive review which is very much appreciated. It is always reassuring to learn that guests have enjoyed their stay, both in the cottage and enjoying the surrounding area and all it has to offer. Thank you for taking the time and the trouble and for booking Barclay Cottage! Property Owner

  • "Barclay Cottage was a lovely find."

Tucked away down a long drive overlooking golden cornfields. Very well equipped and comfortable space with a small but adequate outside area with seating. A tight turn at the entrance needed caution. Ideally situated for visiting numerous National Trust properties and recommend local train service. Lynn was there to greet us and close by if we had any questions.

Many thanks for taking the time and trouble to leave a positive review of the cottage. It is wonderful to learn that you enjoyed your week with us, visiting the many National Trust attractions as well as making use of the train at nearby Headcorn. What superb weather you were blessed with too! Thank you! Property Owner
