"What more can we say."
.. this is now our third visit in just one year! The accommodation is truly delightful and exactly the kind of getaway we need. The farm itself is such a highlight too; the owners are lovely and welcoming, and it’s been great exploring the grounds and meeting the animals - especially the goats, the chickens, and the ducks and geese around the pretty pond. If you don't fancy travelling, you can just stay at the farm and enjoy the grounds, which we certainly did when we brought our dog on our second visit! We were total 'aliens to Kent' having never holidayed in this part of the country before, but we’ve been really impressed by how much there is to do. The farm is ideally situated for exploring; by car, it’s an easy drive to places like Broadstairs, Margate, Dover, Folkestone, Deal, and Canterbury. We even made it to Dungeness Beach. We never in a month of Sundays imagined we'd get to see a decommissioned nuclear power station up close, let alone have dinner in a pub just a few hundred yards away from it! There are way more places than that to explore nearby too, including three amazing zoos: Wingham Wildlife Park, Howletts Wild Animal Park, and Port Lympne Wild Animal Park (we haven't made it to that one yet but look forward to doing so). There’s never a shortage of things to see and do, and there is even an excellent Chinese takeaway just three minutes away by car. For us, it’s just the perfect base in a beautiful location in the Kent Downs.

"We’ve just returned from three truly wonderful restful days staying in Bee Cottage."
Alan and Pam were utterly delightful and welcoming, as was the bottle of wine and biscuits that were waiting for us upon our arrival.
The cottage had everything we needed, a well-equipped kitchen with microwave, hotplate/oven fridge etc. Plenty of cutlery, plates, pots and pans as well.
The peace and quiet of the farm were just what we needed to recharge our batteries. We also had the run of the fields, so our greyhound was able to run around to his heart’s content.
Plenty of places to visit locally, Folkestone is only a 15-minute drive away. Plenty to see and do, and lots of good eating places. For us it was fish and chips by the harbour.
It really has been a lovely time staying in Bee Cottage. We’ve come home with some wonderful happy memories.
A huge thank you to Alan and Pam for all their time and effort. It’s been greatly appreciated.
Simon, Susan and Woody the dog.

"Me and my girlfriend spent four amazing days at these beautiful cottages, and it honestly felt like a little escape from everything."
The owners, Alan and Pam, were such a kind and lovely couple, they made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. They even showed us around the whole farm and shared a bit of its rich history with us.
One of the best parts was getting to interact with all the animals. The sheep were always chilling in the shathem themhe goats were super friendly, especially if you had food to offer
Thank you both for your positive feedback it was an absolute pleasure for us to have you stay here truly loverly couple

"Very nice cosy cottage, very clean plenty of parking, nice helpful owners."
Couple of minor gripes, no opening window, got very steamy after shower, no dishwasher as described in description, a few more bits of cutlery would be nice. Apart from that very pleasant stay.
