Step inside and let the warmth of underfloor heating guide you across sleek wooden flooring to a bright, contemporary interior.

Bi-folding doors frame glimpses of Lake Windermere, drawing the outdoors in and setting the tone for a relaxing stay.

As desserts crisp up in the double oven and the hot plate hob sizzles with dinner, gather around the dining table, complete with a sculptural centrepiece/ planter, which sets the scene for memorable meals.

The open-plan living space is designed for comfort, with a corner sofa, mounted Smart TV, and electric fire creating a cushy hub for evenings in.

The lodge features a king-size bedroom with Smart TV and en-suite walk-in shower, basin and WC, a second king-size, and a twin, all served by a family bathroom where you can soak tired muscles in the tub after a day on the fells.

Outside, the large decked area with seating offers a peaceful spot to dine alfresco and enjoy the fresh air with partial lake views.

A short walk brings you to the local shop and pub, while the lake itself is just moments away.

Squeeze into your wetsuits and gear to explore the Lake District National Park, where paddleboarding, wild swimming and fell walking await.

Discover the fairytale turrets and lakeside trails of National Trust – Wray Castle, or venture into the mysterious depths of Rydal Cave, a hidden gem carved into the hillside.

For a change of pace, take a short drive to Ambleside, with its independent shops and cafés, or head to Kendal, where castle ruins and cultural charm await. 7 Lake View is a scenic and stylish retreat, perfect for soaking up the best of the Lake District.
