Being able to walk from the door into stunning lakeland fells is a real bonus. The lodge has been very tastefully decorated, has every utensil and piece of crockery you might need, and is light and airy, making it a delight to stay here even when raining. The decking area looks down over the river and is a lovely space to sit and relax when the sun comes out. The beds were very comfortable too. Many thanks for a really lovely holiday. Jane
