Suited to families and groups of four, as well as those bringing a four-legged companion, the lodge places Lincolnshire’s coastal countryside within easy reach. Step inside and the open-plan layout brings everything together, making it easy to spend time as a group.

The kitchenette provides the essentials for preparing breakfast before a day by the sea or an evening meal on your return, while the dining and sitting areas offer places to gather over food or settle down with the Smart TV.

When bedtime approaches, a double bed and two singles arranged in bunk-bed style provide sleeping space within the studio setting.

A private shower room with a walk-in shower completes the interior.

Outside, the enclosed garden gives children and dogs space to enjoy the fresh air, with furniture and a barbecue for meals outdoors.

There are also dog-walking trails through the park’s private woodland. Set out towards Anderby Creek, where the Lincolnshire coast offers sandy shoreline and access to nearby Moggs Eye, giving families and their dogs plenty of opportunity for seaside walks.

Around Sutton-on-Sea, discover more of the coastline, including National Trust - Sandilands, where coastal countryside offers another change of scenery.

Head inland to Alford, a historic market town within easy driving distance of the lodge, or visit the nearby Radcliffe Donkey Sanctuary for another family outing.

Huttoft’s dog-friendly beach offers a further choice for days beside the sea, while the surrounding countryside invites you to swap sandy shores for woodland paths.

Bring together days on the Lincolnshire coast and evenings in your own enclosed outdoor space at Snowdrop Lodge Dog friendly Nr Anderby Creek.

Alford is a charming market town in Lincolnshire. It is set at the foot of the Lincolnshire Wolds, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and is about 11 miles north-west of the coastal resort of Skegness. There is a wide range of shops including a pharmacy, grocers and two butchers as well as a large shop which specialises in doll’s houses and their contents. Alford has become an important centre for arts and crafts with many markets held throughout the year. The main market is held in the Market Place every Tuesday and Friday with the craft market being held every August Bank Holiday as well as Christmas markets being held every year. Alford is known for its Grade I listed working windmill, which is used commercially to produce stone-ground organic flour. Alford Manor House is a central point in the town, with its exhibitions and museum as well as a tea room and open gardens. With Alford being set in the Lincolnshire Wolds, there are plenty of walking and cycling routes to follow or even take a trip to the Lincolnshire Wolds Railway or Claythorpe Watermill and Wildfowl Gardens, where you will find plenty of birds and animals, with plenty of space to sit and relax with great views of the old mill. Within 30 mins, you will find the seaside resorts of Skegness and Mablethorpe, with great beaches, making a great playground for children and adults alike. For something different, why not visit the towns of Louth or Horncastle, which both have a good range of shops and pubs as well as regular street and farmers markets?
