  • "The mobile home is on a quiet site, a minute’s walk from the huge sandy beach at Anderby Creek."

    The owner is very helpful and friendly and filmed a video explaining how to find the site and nearby facilities. Moggs Eye is just a little way further up the beach, this is about the nearest accommodation to it, and we had a lovely couple of days there with our dog.

  • "We had a lovely couple of nights staying at Sunkist Caravan Park in Anderby Creek and, overall, really enjoyed our little getaway."

    On the day of arrival, I hadn’t received the access details, so I contacted Simon, who was very helpful and friendly. He provided all the information we needed, along with a really nice and welcoming video, which was a great touch. The caravan itself was lovely, tidy and well presented, with everything generally in its place. There were a few areas where the cleanliness could have been better, with quite a lot of dust and hair around the caravan that we cleaned ourselves, and unfortunately there was some mould in the top two freezer drawers. I also found a handbag and purse containing a driving licence and bank cards that had been left behind by the previous guests, which suggested the caravan perhaps hadn’t been checked as thoroughly as it could have been. I contacted Simon about this, and he was very helpful in getting in touch with the previous guests so they could come back and collect their belongings. The caravan is situated very close to the pub at the entrance to the site, so there was some noise from the entertainment there during our stay. This is worth being aware of if you’re looking for somewhere particularly quiet, although personally it didn’t spoil our stay. There were plenty of useful facilities provided, including Wi-Fi, TV, a gas cooker and heating, as well as bedding, towels and toilet roll. The pub was only a short walk away, and we found everyone there to be very friendly. They also serve food, which was convenient. The beach was around a four-minute walk from the caravan, which was ideal and one of the things we particularly enjoyed about the location. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay and thought the caravan itself was spot on for a short break. There are certainly a few areas where the cleaning and final checks could be improved, but these didn’t stop us from enjoying our time there. We had a really nice couple of days away and would happily consider staying again.
