  • "What a beautiful bungalow, perfect for us as a quiet family of 4 plus a small doggo."

Upon arriving at the bungalow late at night, it was warm, bright and immediately felt like home. It was super clean, the kitchen had all the bits and bobs you could require. The beds were all SO COMFORTABLE that we had the best nights' sleep and feel really refreshed. The thermostatic shower was lovely and had plenty of room for us to shower the kids. The bungalow has ample room for a family, two loos, big kitchen/diner/living area a separate lounge for the cold nights of February! They have plenty of puzzles and games that you can use, no need to bring your own. Their 'dog box' has two bowls, 3 towels and a large blanket, so very thoughtful. It also has poo bags and dog toys but we used our own. They leave the vacuum cleaner on site which is perfect for keeping on top of the inevitably sandy floors. There is also a mop, ironing board and irons, pegs and a clothes airer. We used the washing machine a few times as we only pack for a few days, no tumble drier but we found that putting the airer in front of the radiators dried the clothes quite quickly. They provide a welcome pack with hand soap, toilet paper, washing up liquid, sponge, cloth, tea, coffee, sugar, milk and a local fruit loaf. Bring your own dishwasher tablets if you don't want to wash up all the time! There isn't cleaning products so if you are a clean freak like me you'll have to bring your own too. Plenty of parking and super secure, once we'd removed the roof box the car fitted into the car port well. Our dog was the only one who used the garden, I asked for her feedback and she wagged her tail. The only issue if you have a prey-driven dog is that next door has a cattery-style area visible from the bungalow's dining area, which we didn't realise until the dog told us! We put the blinds down for the rest of the holiday and it seemed to help our dog settle again. Outside tap was brilliant for washing the wellies and dog's paws. Location was superb, a short walk to the beach with beautiful coastline in both directions, lots of doggos (Oct-Apr). Easy to get the kids motivated for walks as the bungalow had beach toys for them to play with. All towns and villages locally, including Skegness, were very sleepy and hardly anything was open. It suited us but if you are a family who like to visit lots of tourist-y places, wait until Easter when it all opens again! Communication was excellent with the owners Kate and Carole, they checked in to see how everything was and were only a phone call/text away.

Thanks for the lovely feedback, Claire, so glad you had a good stay. All of our visitors are provided with a supply of basic cleaning products, bin bags, dishwasher tablets and laundry pods which are kept ( for safety reasons) in the hall cupboard adjacent to the doggie box. Property Owner

Has a smart tv with Netflix and prime applications already pre installed. The kitchen has everything, even a coffee maker ice bucket (with ice in the freezer). You can also chill and read in the spacious kitchen’s seating area, or just listen to the radio. There’s loads of games as well and a box for the dogs contains bowls, blankets, water bottles or when on walks. I really enjoyed my stay and recharged my batteries. Thank you sea point

The bungalow is on a big plot so felt very spacious inside and out which was great for 3 adults and a little doggie. The garden is well presented with a canopy for shade, everything we needed. The accommodation exceeded all expectations and the owners could not have been more helpful! Very clean accommodation with lovely comfy beds! The location of the property is even better than it looks in the photos - you come out of the front door and less than a minute later you are on the beach!! There is an amazing cafe on the beach, less than 2 minutes walk away, that serves delicious breakfasts (lots of veggie and vegan options) and is very dog friendly! We didn't do much exploring during our stay as the weather was glorious and we were happy to make the most of the lovely empty beach, but the owners did provide a useful folder of places to see and things to do which looked good! We had such a great time we wanted to re-book for the summer when we got home but sadly it was all booked up!!
