  • "Wow! What a lovely property in a very peaceful location."

The Asparagus Shed is a very comfortable, well equipped property situated in a small village. It is extremely well equipped, comfortable and has everything that you could wish for a quiet retreat and relaxing break. The provision of a well thought out welcome pack was also delightful. Perfect for a short getaway for anyone who wants to enjoy the the countryside.

  • "Spotlessly clean."

Very comfortable. We really enjoyed the peace and quiet especially as it was bonfire weekend with little to no noise from fireworks. This was so good for our dog. Very appreciative of the eggs, wine and plum loaf that were left they were all delicious. Would recommend the Asaparagus shed for a welcome quiet break.

Our first dog feedback (!) and we are very glad to hear that he/she and, of course, you had a restful time in The Asparagus Shed. :) Property Owner

  • "We had a wonderful stay ."

Property excellent & perfect for a relaxing break . Facilities to a very high standard , very thoughtfully planned for what guests need for a comfortable stay . Would suggest ( not that we needed but for future guests ) the shower possibly could do with handrail as some guests may need just to make it easier for getting in & out when wet . We will definitely return 10/10

Good conversion & thoughtful owners also providing helpful welcome pack. In addition there are now two garden sofas & cushions not shown in the pictures which we used. Two very pleasant meals at The Finch Hatton & the National Trust properties of Belton House & Gunby visited.

Thank you very much for this wonderful feedback. I am pleased that you could enjoy the sofas in the garden and got to both Gunby and Belton House - both such nice places to spend time at. :) Property Owner

  • "Great accommodation."

We enjoyed our short stay at the Asparagus shed, located in a quite spot next to the local church. The owner may want to provide a container for recycling plastic waste, we could not find one. Also they might want to edit the information booklet. Would we stay at the Asparagus shed again, YES.

Thank you for taking the time to leave feedback. I am really pleased to hear that you enjoyed your stay at The Asparagus Shed. Thank you also for your advice on the plastic recycling which we have now rectified. The information booklet also! Marie-Anne :) Property Owner

Very modern and well-equipped, host provided everything we needed from teabags to cooking oil which was very much appreciated. Not only that but we were stocked up with fresh eggs and milk, as well as a bottle of wine! Couldn't give any criticism to this place, it was perfect from start to finish. Everything so clean and tidy and obviously very well mantained. Thank you so much to the host for ensuring our stay was so great! Definitely consider a stay at the Asparagus Shed, we absolutely will be returning :)

  • "The accommodation was excellent!"

Everything was of a high standard, comfortable, clean and thoughtfully presented. Lovely toiletries, and welcoming extra's in the fridge were a lovely surprise. We liked the view from the kitchen window and patio across to the church and saw a very occasional horse rider which added to the country feel. Saw our hosts only briefly but were very friendly and not too far away should we have needed to contact them via their mobile numbers.
