The property

Birdsong Lodge is a one-of-a-kind retreat tucked away on Hawthorn Farm near Sutton-on-Sea, offering something a little different for those after a refreshing break by the Lincolnshire coast.

Once two humble shipping containers, it has been cleverly reimagined into a bright and inviting lodge, giving families or small groups a comfortable base with plenty of personality.

Step inside to find a generous open-plan living space, designed for easy days and relaxed evenings.

The kitchen is equipped with everything needed for unhurried holiday cooking, an oven, hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, kettle and toaster, while the sitting area invites you to put your feet up with a film or some music after a day out at the seaside.

WiFi is on hand for planning journeys or streaming a favourite show.

Sleeping arrangements are surprisingly versatile, thanks to two cleverly built alcove bedrooms.

One offers a king-size bed, while the second includes two singles, one of which converts into a double, making the lodge well-suited to families or groups of up to five.

Egyptian cotton sheets and duck-down duvets add an extra touch of comfort, and a smart shower room with basin and WC completes the interior.

Outside, the private patio and garden give you space to enjoy the fresh coastal air, perfect for a lazy breakfast outdoors or an evening drink as the light fades over the fields.

Parking is provided, with additional spaces available by arrangement, and well-behaved pets are welcomed, making it an easy choice for those travelling with four-legged companions.

From here, the long sandy stretch of Sutton-on-Sea is within easy reach, offering a quieter alternative to some of the region’s busier resorts.

Mablethorpe brings traditional seaside fun, while those looking to explore further afield will find Lincoln’s historic streets, cathedral and independent shops well worth the trip inland.

Blending quirky design with a peaceful rural setting, Birdsong Lodge promises a memorable stay for families, friends or anyone looking for a refreshing change of pace on the Lincolnshire coast.
