  • "What a lovely place to stay, home from home, surrounded by animals and close to the river."

From the moment we arrived we thought "Wow" and stepping inside we were very impressed, spacious, clean and everything that one needed. The owners are onsite if you need them or have any problems and are resolved immediately which is really nice. We could honestly live there and will definitely go back in the near future when visiting Norfolk as it's so central to get about and explore various places and Southwold is only 70 mins away which is one of our favourite places in Suffolk. Thank you Chris and Bridgette for making our stay welcoming and Barry too.

  • "We had a lovely week at The Saddlery and found it a spacious, comfortable base for exploring Norfolk."

With two generous bedrooms, each with a good-sized en-suite. One of the highlights was the enclosed garden, which was ideal for our dog, along with the outdoor seating area. We did have an issue with the parasol during our stay, but Bridget was brilliant and replaced it with a brand new one the very next day. That was especially appreciated as we were there during a week of temperatures in the high 20s. The weather was exceptionally hot, so the property did get very warm at times. Two desk fans were provided for the entire property, and the beautiful floor-to-ceiling windows helped create a breeze when opened. Because the property is on a working farm, opening the windows did mean flies did come inside. The location was excellent for exploring Norfolk. During our stay we visited everywhere from Hunstanton to Great Yarmouth, as well as spending time on the Broads. Bridget and her family are making lots of improvements around the property, and it’s easy to see that once everything is finished it will be an even greater place to stay. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. Bridget was friendly, responsive and clearly cares about her guests’ experience.

  • "We had a fantastic time at The Saddlery for our week away in scenic Norfolk."

A new property, that is finished to a high standard, and is beautifully arranged in an open plan style, very comfortable and with 2 impressive bedrooms with immaculate ensuites. Quiet, peaceful and the owners, Bridgette and Chris, on hand if needed. They have a beautifully located property near main routes to attractions, including Norwich, and to some lovely beaches and forests. Will return for sure.
