  • "We have just got back from the most lovely holiday at Bramble cottage."

To quote my 5 year old "mummy, I had such a good holiday, it was the best." The owner was very kind and we felt very looked after with all the facilities, big (clothes airer, tumble dryer etc.) and small (a box full of tea bags, dishwasher tables, clothes washing liquid etc.). The lodge itself was extremely clean and cared for and the amount of free space for the boys and dog to run around in was amazing :) such beautiful grounds. We are already looking forward to our next stay. Thank you, Leigh :) The Brewsters

Thats wonderful that you all enjoyed your holiday in Brambles at our Alderwood Lodges site and look forward to your next visit. Thank you Property Owner

  • "We had a fabulous week staying at Brambles Lodge, the host Leigh was so friendly and helpful nothing was too much."

The Lodge itself was brilliant, it had everything you needed for comfort and with the change in the increment weather the week we were there the warmth of the Lodge was great too. The beds were so comfortable to give you a good nights sleep. The Lodge was lovely and clean on arrival and Leigh the host had thought of everything even with the complimentary packs (tea, sugar, hot chocolate, sugar, dishwasher tablets etc etc.) the list never ending :-) We have already booked again for next year for another week, the surrounding areas were lovely too and our dog so enjoyed his walks round and through the surrounding wooded area first thing in the mornings. The community ran pub, everyone was so friendly and welcoming. We had such a relaxing and chilled holiday and defiantly recharged our batteries ready for when we got back to the rat race. Many thanks Leigh and look forward to seeing you next year Michelle and Mel Cooke and Ollie our little Havanese :-)

Nine acres to wander which was great for my spaniel before bed. Quite and private site, birds, deer, rabbits and pheasant in the garden every day. Leigh was lovely and very helpful. So much to do in the area, I will have to return! Fabulous week.

  • "A lovely well kept lodge."

Very Suitable property for our disabled daughter as there was a ramp access and Walk in shower. Leigh the owner was there to welcome us on our arrival. She checked everything was OK during our stay and there to say farewell at our departure.Excellent joining instructions with lots of useful information on what to see and where to eat etc. We were able to see daily visits by deer and rabbits from the lodge.

  • "The lodge was fitted out with everything you could possibly need."

with some touches above and beyond expectations. We enjoyed the peace and quiet and we all loved walking through the woodland walk every day. Our cairn terrier Ice really enjoyed the freedom of no lead and the freedom to run around. Then back to the warm lodge for a cup of tea. Every evening we were visited by the Muntjac deer looking for food, Not to mention the squirrels and birds. The site agent Leigh made sure everything was perfect. Nothing was too much trouble - really great. Well the week soon was over and it has given us some wonderful memories. For February the weather was really good. One day we went to the centre at Thetford forest, had a good walk and then tucked into our picnic. Top notch. Would we come again- you bet we would and to anyone thinking of going there book it.

  • "The lodge was absolutely beautiful and Lee, the owner, was so lovely and helpful."

The situation is ideal if you are looking for a quiet and peaceful holiday, we sat on the veranda with a glass of wine or a coffee listening to the birds and we even saw a deer about 10 feet away just wandering past and there was always rabbits around and a pheasant patrolling his territory. Thanks for a lovely week, we look forward to booking again next year. Ann & David Hall.

  • "The lodge is in a beautiful setting, private from the other 2 lodges on the grounds."

We found the lodge very well appointed, especially with the gates to the veranda allowing our dog outside space without fear of her wandering off. She also found the wooded area great to run around in and would recommend to families. All in all a very enjoyable stay and will certainly use again. Lyn & John
