  • "The listing was accurate and so close to the beach and amenities."

The beds were extremely comfortable and all of the linens were lovely and clean. The flat was lovely and airy and a delight to stay in. My only criticism was there was no washing-up liquid or surface cleaner provided for us to clean at the end of our stay. I have stayed at a Sykes Cottage before and this was provided. Luckily I brought my own anyway.

  • "A very nice property with only a short walk to sea front and local shops."

A nice size property beds was comfy and kitchen bathroom very nice . Lounge area very comfy and and nice size. It would of been nice to have some milk and tea bags on arrival as I was travelling with my parents both pensioners and after a long journey all they wanted was a nice cup of tea on arrival ( good job Tesco was close by). We had a lovely stay at this property and would defo like to revisit in summer season . Thanks to the owner for having us as guest and for letting us stay at your superb well located property.

Very close to beach and the shops. Cosy apartment, warm and toastie. Log burner a bonus. Only downside was bathroom door doesn’t close. Not ideal with bathroom being adjacent to kitchen. This was mentioned in a review in October so really should have been sorted.

Thank you for your feedback, we glad you had a lovely stay. Bathroom door has now been all sorted. Many thanks Amy Property Owner

  • "Lovely apartment, great location - stones throw to beach and the town centre."

Parking was ok for a medium sized car but no bigger - although there did look to be parking on a side street opposite. The only negative to point out was that one of the blinds in the main bedroom would not shut properly - would have benefitted having curtains up as well as blinds.

Many thank you for your feedback, we have since corrected the blind that would not shut properly in the bedroom so thank you for reporting that to us. Amy Property Owner

The only comment we would make is that since it has been refurbished there are no pictures on the wall to make it homely. However we had a lovely time & our dog loved it too.

Thank you for coming back to us since our refurbishment, we glad you had a lovely time. Also thank you for your suggestion of adding more homely touches, this is something we can definitely look into. Amy Property Owner

We only had a medium size car and had trouble parking. It should be noted a very noisy road and as bedroom is at front of property we’re woken up every morning about 6am with buses and lorries going up and down the road.

Thank you for your feedback on 9 Sea breeze Hunstanton. Yes the parking provided can be difficult for some cars but there is normally off road parking on the side road opposite if people have trouble. I’m sorry it was noisy when you visited, we generally get comments of how quiet it is for a busy seaside town. Many thanks Amy Property Owner

  • "This is a very basic property, there is a washing machine but no tumble dryer or clothes airer, so if you need to do washing and it’s rains N."

    V. there is no where to dry your clothing. The cooker works backwards and starts at the highest number, which is actually pretty dangerous. There is a distinct lack of kitchen utensils for cooking with. There are 2 frying pans and one of them doesn’t seem to work on an induction hob. The bathroom isn’t finished, there is plain plasterboard by the sink and the toilet hasn’t got the caps on yet. Lack of bedding, everywhere else we have stayed provides extra blankets for when it’s cold. The heating never came on and we couldn’t work out how to get it on so we very very cold all week. You should have the heating on and a thermostat on the wall so people can just change the temperature accordingly. The TV doesnt hold signal. And finally, there should be a disclaimer about how noisy the house is from the traffic belting up the road at all hours, and that you can clearly hear the people from upstairs

Thank you for your feedback. Following your feedback we have purchased a clothes airer in case it’s raining and the clothes line can’t be used, the plasterboard has been painted and toilet caps fitted on the toilet. Each bed has a blanket on the end of it and also there is a blanket on each of the sofas in case it’s cold. I’m sorry you couldn’t get the heating to work you would have been more than welcome to phone us so we could have sorted this for you. The thermostat is a white box that can be found on the wall in the hallway and there is an up and down button to turn the temperature up and down. Again thank you for your comments Amy Property Owner

The supply of towels was very good and the inside was clean and tidy.

It was modern and very clean with all equipment provided. My only area of dissatisfaction was the bed being uncomfortable and the huge winds in the bedroom having no curtains just built in blinds to window. The room was very light from early in The morning so not conducive to a relaxing lay in past 6.

Thank you for your feedback so lovely of you. Yes it would be worth noting the parking would be tight for larger cars, I shall speak to Sykes about adding a note. • "When we arrived, the parking was very poor, no dropped kerb causing us to scrape the underside of our car, double yellow lines outside, so no on road parking, the key was loose in the key box as the locked bit did not work."

The property was clean and warm and obviously just been refurbished, so strong smell of paint. No teapot in kitchen, no instructions for the dishwasher and we were unable to use it as we could not get it to work. We could not use the wood burning stove as there was no fireguard. Several small steps which are a trip hazard. The Courtyard was a joke, lots of bits of rubble and generally very dirty, there is an old pallet blocking off the exit to the street so not safe for a dog or child. We actually left after 2 nights, informing the cleaning company we had left.

Thank you for your feedback. The parking is as shown on the photo at booking, yes there isn’t a drop curb but the pavement is only a slight rise. There is a street directly opposite Sea Breeze which in off peak season has parking without double yellows. I have been and checked the key safe and dishwasher and they both work fine, I’m sorry that you couldn’t get them to work, I have left instructions for the dishwasher just in case there is that problem again. A tea pot isn’t something that has been mentioned before but I can look into adding one and a wood burning stove doesn’t require a fire guard in order to use it. There are two very small step ups, one into the kitchen and one into the bathroom which is why on our information on booking Sykes has put we don’t recommend this property for anyone with mobility issues. I’m sorry you thought the courtyard was very dirty but I’m glad you found the property to be warm, clean and newly renovated. Thank you again Amy owner of Sea Breeze Property Owner

The welcome pack was a wonderful touch and we appreciated that!!! On the downside- the property is a little tired and needs some new things bought. We spoke directly about this to the new owner( about a parcel she asked us to take in) and she was aware of this anyway and is addessing them. Cleaning wise- it was OK but not to a high standard, things had been overlooked regularly and a build up dust etc was obvious. We loved the property though and had a great time!

I’m sorry you was never sent the key safes number, I shall speak to Sykes to find out why this was the case. Thank you for your kind comments regarding the presentation of the property. Kind Regards Property Owner
