I would recommend anyone to seriously consider this resort especially if you like zoo animals as there is a zoo on the site. Meerkat's were our favourite's

The shepherds hit was lovely! Clean, peaceful and perfect for us. There is a bar (the barrel), butchers, shop and take away just across the road, a few minutes walk from the shepherds hut which is lovely. I will definitely be back x

  • "Honeysuckle is compact and cosy."

For a shepherds hut it is very well equipped, warm and well planned out. The bed and shower room were particularly impressive. Every attention was paid to cleaning crockery and cutlery to be Covid safe. There were rather a lot of cobwebs up near the ceiling but this was maybe owing to cleaning focus needing to be slightly different at the moment. The site was well run and very friendly. We really enjoyed taking our grandchildren to the zoo next door and walking some of the local footpaths. The local butcher is to be recommended and the Spar shop well stocked.

  • "WIFI was listed on the list for use, but being in the Honeysuckle Cabin, there was hardly any access to WIFI or signal to any device."

Did not realise this until we arrived. Difficult to organise a surprise party, but managed.
