"The cottage was absolutely lovely, it looked like a well loved home rather than a holiday rental."
It was clean and comfy. The outside space was very private and very welcome in the lovely weather.
I thought it was absolutely perfect for two. Very close to the beach and local shops/pubs.
The cottage was a gem.
Thank you so much for taking the time to send such a great feedback. I'm so glad you loved the cottage. Hope to see you back one day! Property Owner

"Parking was awkward because of having to mount the kerb."
Thank you for your feedback. I do agree but unfortunately the council can't approve the kerb to be lowered because of a fire hydrant. However there is on road parking in the immediate area if guests prefer. I hope it didn't cause too much of an issue during your stay. Lesley Property Owner

"A lovely little cottage in a great location with shops and places to eat nearby."
The rear courtyard was a pleasure to sit in with lots of plants and rustic furniture. Inside was cosy with an easy to use kitchen. The stairs were very steep which wasn’t too much of a problem for me but might be if you have any joint or mobility issues. The owner was easy to contact when I needed some help and nothing was too much trouble for her. I definitely want to return. The locals are friendly too and you can take your dog on the beach year round I believe.
Thank you for your great feedback. Great to have you stay. Look forward to seeing you again. Property Owner

"We had a lovely week with our dog in this cottage at the end of April."
It's attractive, comfortable and well-equipped, and the sand and shingle beach is just a few minutes' walk away, so it is wonderfully situated for long walks with the dog, either along the coast or into Lowesoft. The area is quiet but there are shops and takeaways conveniently nearby, and also an interesting art gallery. The thatched church is also worth a look round, if you're into old buildings and local history. (There are also several pubs around, but we never went to any of them so I can't comment!) The owner, who lives nearby, was very helpful but not intrusive. The house was warm, and the woodburning stove was an added bonus for the still chilly nights. The bed was comfortable, although proper reading lamps for both sides of the bed would have been appreciated. I would concur with other reviewers that the stairs are a bit steep, but perfectly manageable unless you have a mobility problem. Those with mobility issues should be also be mindful that the bath is quite high-sided to step into when having a shower, and that there is no in-bath mat to prevent slipping. All in all, it was a lovely place to stay and I would recommend it.

"Had a lovely Christmas break in the cottage."
Its well equipped with everything you could need. The stairs are a bit quirky but not difficult for us personally. You are literally just round the corner from the beach with lovely walks and the town itself provides all essentials. A note about the owner. She went above and beyond during our stay, was contactable anytime if needed and the generous extras she provided for New Year were very gratefully received. All in all a good area for exploring or just relaxing with the beach on your doorstep, in a very comfortable house.
Thank you so much for your great feedback. I'm so pleased you enjoyed your Christmas/New Year break. You were most welcome to a few treats to celebrate the New Year in! Thanks again. Property Owner

"Nice cottage in a great location."
On the whole the property was well equipped, we thought the duvet was very well used and would benefit from a new one.
. The owner was very easy to deal with.
Thank you for your feedback Janette it's really helpful...rest assured the duvet was new this Summer but ironically recently back from the cleaners and the filling perhaps suffered so I have replaced it as you suggested. Property Owner

"So nice to stay in such a well thought out cottage which has it’s on true character."
There was everything I could have needed and friendly, welcoming text’s from the owner. The location was a short walk to the coast and to local facilities. Loved having my own parking space and exploring the Suffolk Coast. My dog had a fantastic time and loved the vast freedom the beach walks provided….. she wasn’t ever that keen to come back on the lead! I’d definitely recommend if you want a home away from home and a well loved cottage. It was immaculate x

"Proximity of cottage to the Suffolk coast, Broads ,local pubs and stores could not be bettter."
Two mins walk to the beach meant early morning and evening strolls were part of every day. We focused on the Suffolk coast from Lowestoft to Aldeburgh including Snape Maltings, plus Beccles, Oulton Broad and the gardens of Somerleyton Hall.
We ate out every evening in the local pubs/hotels in Pakefield ( no car needed) where we were spoilt for choice....good pub grub to fine dining. We were well looked after by welcoming staff especially as this was our first venture out since the outbreak of the epidemic.
A brilliant holiday for two 75 year olds!

"One of the best cottages we have stayed at."
Lovely interior, very well presented with lots of thoughtfully presented features. The only difficulty is that the stairs are steep and awkward and could be a challenge for some people. Great for local food and pubs within walking distance. Also easy to explore local area by car. We had a great time.
