  • "Lovely accommodation!"

Best experienced in good weather as we never got to use the seating on the decking but the barn is so lovely we were happy to relax inside for the Easter weekend. Would definitely recommend.

Lovely to have you stay in Red Poll Barn and I am pleased you got the time to relax over Easter. Kind regards Jacqui Property Owner

  • "The host was very friendly and welcoming."

We were given milk, biscuits, coffee and cava as a welcome gift and tea and sugar was available to us. The barn was beautifully furnished with plenty of kitchen utensils and nice and warm. We were x2 couples and whilst the main bedroom was an adequate size, the second bedroom is very small with x2 single beds. Good location to get out and about to surrounding areas for walks.

Thanks Michelle for the lovely feedback regarding the barn. Regarding the 2nd bedroom it is advertised as a twin room and there are photo's of the 2nd bedroom on the website. Apologies if it was different to what you was expecting - we like to be totally transparent on what we do offer and on the Best of Suffolk website there is floor plan of the barn to prevent disappointment. Glad you still had a lovely time and got to enjoy the local area. Kind regards Jacqui Property Owner

Extremely well equipped kitchen with everything we needed to cook after our days out. Very welcoming owners. Would definitely recommend it to family and friends and hope to return ourselves soon.

  • "The owners are lovely and very helpful."

The accommodation and grounds was perfect, everything provided for a break away from home. Nice little welcome pack provided for our arrival and a taster of home made jam (delicious). If I have to fault anything, then it would be the seating depth of the sofa and armchair, very nice furniture, however, I had to use pillows from the beds to use as extra back support as I'm reasonably short, maybe a few extra large chunky cushions could be provided. More than happy to recommend and holiday again at Red Poll Barn.

Hi Pamela, Thanks very much for the lovely feedback. I am sorry about the sofa depth- I have put in some extra cushions for future guests! Kind regards Jacqui Property Owner

  • "Lovely setting, and very comfortable."

The kitchen and everything we needed, and loads of towels for the bathroom. Lots of country walks close by. Just the main road to contend with which was very busy at times. Nevertheless a great location and a very good stay helped by wonderfully hospitable vendors. Kind regards David and Victoria

Well appointed with everything you need, it was nice to come back to the barn after a day exploring the local area to sit by the pond and have a cold beer.

  • "1. For people of our age (mid-80s), the leather furniture was far too low and difficult for us to rise from."

More our problem than the owners! 2. The hot water temperature is possibly too high for domestic purposes. 3. Beds were super-comfortable. Facilities were spot on. 4. Most enjoyable stay which would recommend to others. 5. Jacqui & Nick were great hosts. Mtks.

Hi there, thank you for the feedback and sorry about the sofa height. We have calibrated the hot water temperature now. I am really pleased you had a lovely stay - it was lovely to meet you both!! Jacqui Property Owner

  • "Great barn/cabin in a very relaxing environment."

There were quite a few nice pubs dotted close by and the coast about 20 mins away, which was incredible. Jacqui was very welcoming, the place was very clean and had lots of towels / kitchen was well provided for. Only downside, the windows didn't have locks on the inside (we have wandering kids), however the barn was very secure / land was too. Waking up every morning to the countryside was mega. Very good value also. Would recommend.

Hi Kian, So pleased that you had a lovely time in the barn. Just to say there is a lock for all the windows - it is on the shelf in the kitchen. Apologies I should have made it more obvious to you. We would love to have you come back! Jacqui Property Owner
