  • "We had a fabulous stay at Pear Tree Cottage."

    The property is well maintained and had everything we could possible need. The welcome tea and biscuits were a nice touch. Would definitely stay there again when visiting Norfolk.

  • "Pear Tree Cottage has been tastefully renovated and is attractively furnished."

    There were just 2 of us in the three bedroom accommodation and we were very well suited. However I do feel it would be quite cramped with 5 people. Although situated on a main road, the thick stone walls and the small, double glazed windows assured that we weren't disturbed by traffic noise. The owner, Rosemary, lives near by and called round to check that everything was ok. We were out at the time so didn't see her, but that was a nice touch.

    The owners have paid great attention to detail, maintenance and it offered us everything we needed for our stay. We were thrilled when we were welcomed by the visiting peacocks and yet we were so close to the town centre. Thank you

  • "Very comfortable cottage."

    Super clean well equipped kitchen and bathroom. Also comfortable beds. There is only one issue: lots of traffic noise starting in the very early hours of the morning. Nevertheless we had a great week!!

  • "Lovely cottage."

    Clean and comfortable. Only slight issue was that it sleeps 5 but only has sofas for 4. Could easily fit in an arm chair by removing a table in the living room.

  • "Lovely cottage!"

    We had a lovely weekend stay at the cottage with our young family. The cottage was beautiful and clean on our arrival and the owners were so helpful. We had requested extra items for our youngest which was all set up and ready for us. The kitchen was well stocked with items for cooking at home and it is clear that the owners had put a lot of thought into setting up the cottage. The market on Saturday morning was great and just a short walk from the cottage. The cottage was perfect base for us visiting the Polar Express as it was only a short drive away.

    It was spotless, the best cottage we have stayed in. Rosemary is a lovely lady, and the milk and biscuits were great treat. Would highly recommend this property if staying in Norfolk.

  • "Seldom will you find a holiday cottage as good as this."

    It is immaculate and well stocked with everything you could possibly need for your holiday. The furnishings are really good quality and bedding, towels, etc are all new. The communication with the owner was clear, and Swaffham, in which it is situated, is a great base from which to discover North Norfolk and beyond. Parking is always a bonus and that too is aplenty. Pear Tree Cottage is full of character and charm and as the name suggests has its own tree which adorns the side wall and currently is laden with fruit. Thanks to the owners for their hard work in keeping the cottage to such high standards.

  • "Lovely brand-newly refurbished cottage."

    Had everything you needed. Very clean and tidy. Situated in a very convenient part of Swaffham for the shops. Lots of space for parking. Near to some great heritage sites like Castle Acre Priory and Oxburgh Hall. You can hear a little road noise and the sound of church bells at night but it isn't that noticeable, especially with the windows shut.

Pear Tree Cottage is a charming retreat nestled in the heart of Swaffham, Norfolk.

Upon entering the cottage, the hallway leads to the kitchen, dining room and cloakroom.

The sitting room can be entered from the kitchen or dining room and comes complete with a Smart TV, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploration.

The kitchen/diner is fully equipped with everything you need to prepare delicious meals and there is a separate dining room to accommodate up to 6 guests.

A convenient cloakroom with a basin and WC completes the ground floor.

Upstairs, you will find three well-presented bedrooms; a double with a TV, a twin room with TV, and a single room, all offering a tranquil escape at the end of the day.

The bathroom is fitted with a bath and a large walk-in shower.
