"What an amazing house, we loved it!"
Warm, spacious, cosy, bright and quiet. Sun in the garden all day. I had the best sleep all week and had such a relaxing holiday. Cemaes Bay is cute and the North of Anglesey seems quieter than other parts. 5 mins walk from the house and you're at the beach and the coastal path. Both ways provide terrific scenery and little bays where you can nip for a swim. One of my best holidays and I certainly will be back.

"The house was clean, comfortable and a great place to stay."
In a reasonable location within a 5 min walk of the beach and local amenities. Highly recommended.
The only issue we had, which I feel needs addressing was the fridge, which did not get cold enough. When turned up to maximum, it froze the back of the fridge but did not keep overall contents at the desired temperature. Milk was going off after 2 days, and many items we had to dispose of such as fresh food as it was going off quickly. This is a problem because it cost us money we did not want to spend and the nearest large shop is in Holyhead some 30 min drive away. So we had to buy fresh food from one local small shop with limited food and higher prices.

"Three adult couples."
Well equipped, especially the kitchen. Spacious, comfy and warm living areas good to have 3 bathrooms, showers hot, good internet connection. Shame the garage was not available as we had 3 vehicles. (one very small it would have been ideal to hide it in the garage.)
Ideally situated for walking the Coast Path in the North of the island.
Well served with buses.
Despite being close to the main road we did not notice much traffic noise, especially in the evenings.

"Such a pleasantly large accommodation and very comfortable."
Had everything you need for a lovely stay. The weather wasn't great so we spent more time in the accommodation than we usually would and enjoyed the spacious rooms and layout. Cemaes Bay is a lovely area of Anglesey and it was nice to have the nature reserve right next to the property too as an alternative walk down to the beach and harbour.

"Lovely house in a great location minutes from the beach."
Well positioned to explore other areas of Anglesey. House is a good size with ample room for the 5 of us that travelled. Bit of TLC needed to the house - first floor shower door wouldn’t close fully, wooden latts on single bed loose and mixer tap on ground floor had no part to swap between shower head and taps - none of these small issues distracted from a lovely stay. Would happily book again and recommend to others.
Beaumaris is a must visit - we had lots of fun crab fishing and checking out the castle. Trearddur Bay and Moelfry were 2 more highlights of our stay.
Thank you!!

"Very nice property with all that you need."
A few items looking tired (toilet seats and brushes) and a few bulbs blown. Emma brought extra towels when requested. Could do with better lighting in the lounge needed for older folks with not so good eyesight. Otherwise a very pleasant enjoyable stay.

"We thoroughly enjoyed our vacation in this property, and we would certainly recommend it to others as we were of the opinion that much thought and cost had gone into the building both inside and out."
Our only criticism was the cleanliness of the shower and the oven, perhaps they had been overlooked.

"The property was exceptionally clean and comfortable and very spacious."
It is situated at the top of the high street so a short walk from the shops and the beach, but also near the main road which did mean there was noise from the traffic, however this was only noticeable at night.
Lovely coastal walks accessible on foot from the property and also a short river/woodland path . I would recommend this property.

"Overall great stay."
Bedrooms comfortable and house was very spacious with plenty of room for comfort. However Shower in upstairs bathroom not fixed or working for our stay ( we were advised about this prior to our stay) dining room chairs not the comfiest especially for those who have back problems.
Would recommend booking this house to anyone as it was a great base in a lovely area.

"Lovely spacious property in great location."
Very clean and comfortable beds. We forgot to take oven gloves, unusual that they are not provided. Great communication from owner when the upstairs shower was found to be leaking (didn't cause problens for us) slight issue with bathroom light switch was fixed very quickly.
Overall, feels like it could do with a little TLC; some of the spotlights in kitchen not working and handles on windows a bit wobbly but overall would recommend.

"Comfortable and plenty of storage space."
Room for all the family to spread.Good location just a short walk to the beach. Unfortunately the washing machine broke while we there but the owner was very prompt in coming to see problem and ordered a new one which would have arrived after we left. Would have been nice to have some champagne flutes but generally there was plenty of crockery .

"A bright, spacious and clean cottage."
Everything you need and very comfortable. Situated in a peaceful area with the small high street, pubs and a shop within walking distance. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend to others. It would be helpful to have a visitor's book at the cottage listing places of interest and so that other guests can leave recommendations of places that they have visited. All in all a lovely stay.

"We had such a lovely last minute stay in this unassuming property in the beautiful village of Cemaes Bay."
The inside is very comfortable and modern and warm. The room sizes are generous and with 2 living rooms we all had plenty of space to spend ‘alone time’. The owners were very prompt in helping out with a minor issue. This was a lovely base to explore Anglesey and do day trips to Penmon point, Trearddur Bay, Beaumaris, Llanddwyn island. We had a lovely meal at the Gwesty Gadlys restaurant which I thoroughly recommend and the local shop has all basic amenities and a stones throw away.

"Do not be fooled by the initial look of the property from the outside."
Once you enter the Smithy, you walk into a very tastefully decorated, modern home. The property is spotlessly clean and we could not believe how much space there was. I particularly loved the little sun room at the front.
Emma had left a lovely little gift of Welsh Cakes, a pint of milk plus tea and coffee. Much welcomed after a long trip, and a kind personal touch.
The whole property is spacious and comes with three bathrooms. Ideal for a family or, like us, a couple on our own. The photos do not do this property justice, it is so airy and fresh.
There has been a good effort made in the garden, yet to mature, and some perfect seating areas for alfresco dining or just taking in the fresh air.
A perfect home. Whether you just want a break away and to relax, or you want to enjoy the beautiful beaches Anglesey has to offer, this place is well located for access to roads leading to nearby villages & towns.
The property is yards away from the high street, on which you can get everything you need. There are some lovely little riverside walks just down the lane, and the pretty Ceamas Harbour is just a five minute walk away.
Would certainly come again.
