This holiday was a perfect fit for our family of 10, four children aged 3 to 7 and 6 adults. The Oaks is set in beautiful peaceful safe open Shropshire countryside on a working farm perfect for children who need to vent their energy and excitement of being together with their cousins. The house is great with a large open planned living area which has a wonderful open countryside aspect and a well furnished kitchen, ample large roomed en suite bedrooms and a family bathroom. There are a few sheep and ducks to observe. Access to many locations is so easy especially National Trust for example Attingham Park with a great play area, Powis Castle, Chirk Castle, also Llangollen with its railway and Aqueduct and canal. Ellesmere is just 5 miles down the road for shops and mere walks great to explore. The lovely owners Jane and Andrew welcomed us as friends and were always available for advise and help if required. We can fully recommend a relaxing holiday here in a gem of a place in undiscovered Shropshire.
