    "Cwrt is a lovely cottage situated in a very quiet village ."

    It is very tastefully decorated in fresh white and blue throughout , spotlessly clean and equipped with everything we could possibly need. It is very spacious and comfortable. A generous welcome pack - bread, milk, butter and Welsh cakes - and a vase of fresh flowers provided a lovely welcome.

    "We were particularly impressed by the spaciousness of accommodation for a couple, for instance, no attempt to cram in a second bedroom."

    There is an abundance of appliances (being 'picky' the only item lacking is a two pin adaptor for electric razor and toothbrush charger). Finding fresh essential provisions was a very pleasant surprise. Finally, the quietness of the location ensured good restful nights.

    "What a lovely, clean, fresh and well equipped cottage!"

    ! We had a fabulous short break here, there was a welcome pack there to great us and fresh flowers on the table was such a nice touch. Quiet and peaceful location and a nice secure garden for the dog to explore. Such a shame our stay was for only 3 nights!!

    "This cottage looked very appealing on line but it was beyond expectations when we arrived after a long and very hot journey."

    It was light and airy and cool, beautifully decorated and generously equipped. Had the weather been cold and dreary,the log burner was all ready to go, along with a generous extra supply of wood. Without being overdone, there are some beautiful touches in the choice of adornment. I fell for the cushion on the landing chair.(an appliqué map of Anglesey) A very pretty garden,front and back, with views of Snowdonia.

    The owner had thought of everything, providing a real home from home experience. The cottage was bright and airy but cosy as well,with a garden and patio which was great for the dog. The welcome pack and fresh flowers were a nice touch.

    "This cottage was outstanding it was home from home extremely well equipped, comfortable and extremely clean ."

    We had a lovely week at the cottage exploring the beautiful countryside. We had a dog with us who enjoyed the garden . We did make use of the nice garden furniture a few evenings. Thank you for the welcome flowers ,Welsh cakes,bread and milk . When we return to Anglesey will definitely book this cottage again .

    "Have visited Anglesey many times over the years and this is the loveliest, cosiest cottage I have ever stayed in right on the doorstep of one of the UK's beset beaches in my eyes - Llanddwyn - finally managed to take Sky around the island as we usually visit in the summer when dogs are out of bounds on that side of the beach."

    We had the most amazing weather too, felt so lucky. The welcome pack included delicious Welsh cakes and was much appreciated, and the bunch of daffodils was a lovely touch - it really is the little things that make all the difference.     "We had a really lovely stay at the cottage which had everything we needed."

    It is decorated really well and was in a good location for a number of local attractions including Newborough Forest and beach where we had a great dog walk. There is an air fryer, coffee machine and hair dryer provided which aren’t mentioned on the listing and the cottage was spotless. We appreciated the milk, bread and Welsh cakes that were kindly left by the owners and as it was Valentine’s weekend there were some red roses on the table which was a lovely touch. Would definitely recommend this cottage.

    "We loved our recent short stay at Cwrt."

    The cottage is in an immaculate condition and had everything we needed. We had a lovely welcome pack provided (bread, milk, butter, Welsh cakes, tea, coffee and hot chocolate too) and enough wood for the burner to see us through our stay even though we brought some of our own. The cottage has a warm and romantic feel to it and it is in a very quiet and peaceful location. The secure garden to both front and back was excellent for our dog. I would highly recommend this cottage, it was the best we have ever stayed in, we were lucky to get booked in at short notice due to it being newly listed. I doubt there will be much availability in the future, we hope to stay again. Thank you so much to the owners for providing such a beautiful cottage for a peaceful rest and relaxed stay.

NIWBWRCH (NEWBOROUGH)

Menai Bridge 10.7 miles; Red Wharf Bay 12.4 miles; Beaumaris 14.9 miles; Amlwch 19.3 miles.

Niwbwrch is a small village on the south-west corner of the Isle of Anglesey, and was founded in the 13th century. The village is now best known for having one of the largest areas of sand dunes on the British Isles as well as Niwbwrch Forest which boasts 2000 acres of land and is recognised as one of the most important red squirrel conservation sites in the United Kingdom. Llys Rhosyr also resides here and is home to the ruins of a pre-Edwardian commotal court and boasts impressive views over mainland Wales and the Snowdonia National Park. Be sure to refuel at The White Lion, a dog-friendly establishment serving ales and good pub food, ideal after exploring the surrounding areas. Treath Llanddwyn beach’s stretch of golden sands is also nearby as are the historical sites of Eglwys Santes Dwynwen and Goleudy Twr Bach.
