“Comfortable flat for our three night visit.”

Lovely morning views. Friendly and helpful welcome from the publican. The pub was a treat and very picturesque.

Three Pigeons Inn Apartments

With luscious countryside and facilities for outdoor activities nearby, this is a fine choice to base a holiday of exploring North Wales.Accessed via an external staircase, step up onto the shared decking and enter into the homely, open-plan living rooms. Both flats provide snug seating for all five of you, in full view of the TV so you can watch a favourite film at the end of the day. They also offer charming kitchen areas and a dining table set for five, the sloping ceilings and wooden beams give it a real heart-warming effect. To the back of the Three Pigeons Inn Apartments rest three bedrooms in each; a king-size with an en-suite which leads onto the two further bedrooms, namely a double and a single room. On the sunnier days, take a seat on the shared decking as a group and enjoy a refreshing drink together, perhaps treat yourself to an alfresco feast. Head downstairs to the pub for a drink, as well as some entertaining live music. Nearby, visit the historical town of Ruthin with some wonderful buildings and lovely pubs to sit in and relax. Graigfechan is a small, peaceful village in a delightful part of Wales, just 3 miles south of the hilltop town of Ruthin, which lies to the north of Llangollen via the breathtaking Horseshoe Pass. The village has a pleasant pub which serves quality food, and is used as the start of the Offa's Dyke Walk 5, a 5.5 mile scenic walk along the nearby beautiful Clwydian Hill Range. Picturesque Ruthin has a 700 year old history, boasting attractive, half-timbered buildings, mainly clustered around St Peter's Square, along with interesting shops and buildings and the Ruthin Craft Centre, which houses work by internationally recognised artists and craftspeople, and is well worth a visit. Beautiful countryside is on the doorstep, whilst lovely Llangollen, which boasts the cascading River Dee, renowned for exhilarating white water rafting, and scenic Lake Brenig, Moel Famau, Loggerheads Country Park and Clocaenog Forest are all close by.
