  • "This was our 2nd stay here and have a 3rd booked for August."

    This place is beautiful & so peaceful. The house is amazing with everything you could need and more. Well equipped kitchen with picnic stuff and barbecue stuff already there. There is even a little nik nak drawer with things like spare phone chargers and batteries and not to mention birthday decorations just in case. The games room has a multitude of board games aswell as a full size pool table and plug in games for the tv. There are paint markers and colouring stuff for the kids and bookshelves that’s more like a full on library. There are stacks of days out and things to do leaflets so you can plan your days. The place is spotless and couldn’t fault a thing. The beds are so comfy and the bathrooms are beautiful. I can’t wait to go back. Thanks for an amazing stay.

  • "I don't think the photos do this place justice!"

    It is a very spacious and comfortable cottage. The layout is really good - two large bedrooms downstairs (one with en suite next to the lounge and one next to a bathroom). One bedroom with en suite upstairs which my mum loved! When I say everything was provided I mean *everything*. I bought cleaning products, hand-wash, condiments and foil etc with me. It was all there waiting when I arrived plus milk, coffee, tea and biscuits. The garden is lovely and peaceful and completely enclosed. There is an area where part of the wall is lower but it goes into the garden next door which looks to be fully enclosed also. We took a Shih Tzu and there were no issues whatsoever - she loved the garden! Great selection of books and games. A pool table and a retro computer console! The owner sent a message to confirm the key collection details and to offer support - he was so incredibly lovely and cared a lot. The property is heated by central heating and a log fire in the lounge. We didn't use the fire in the lounge as the central heating was more than enough. There are shops, pubs and takeaways nearby. Stone and wooden/tiled floors. All bedding, towels and soft furnishings spotless. We will be back!

  • "The property has lots of room, it was warm, great position, good facilities, ..."

    The property has lots of room, it was warm, great position, good facilities, nice views, very well equipped kitchen, each room was lovely especially having ensuit bathrooms and a bathroom next to the main super king, the Morrison shop is walking distance, and it was nice to meet the lovely ladies in the charity shop, also walking distance, it was nice to spend an hour there after a full day's walking, the games room and selection of games was great, the owners are lovely, very helpful, genuinely nice people

  • "A great place to stay."

    Loads if equipment provided. Well positioned sunny garden. Quite noisy in the mornings due to development on opposite side of road. Sure this is temporary. Upstairs bedroom had bedside lights that were decorative rather than functional - multi coloured lights with white light that was not bright enough to read by.

We don't understand what has caused a change in your original review of 19th Oct, however, we accept that you have every right to change your view, but we are sorry to see that the standards of the property were not to your total satisfaction. This has surprised us and will certainly look into this. As remote owners, we rely on our local housekeeping company and we do communicate at every change over to ensure first hand information on any issues. We share all reviews with them and will certainly discuss your comments, specifically on cleanliness as we have never had a problem previously, either from Sykes customers or our own private bookings. All previous reviews have been 100%. As for the housing development directly across the road, it is definitely coming to an end and it's more than likely that the completion of landscaping and fencing for the final property, being directly across the road is that has disturbed you. Again, apologies for this, but it is something that we cannot control. We didn't mention this in advance as we have had no comments at all from any previous clients in the 12 months the work has been ongoing, this is the only occurrence. As for the bedside lights, yes understand they are not bright enough to read by, but we chose these with safety in mind (LED and USB charged) as well as their aesthetics. Again, we have had no previous comments about them. Nonetheless, we do appreciate your views and will certainly take them on board and consider alternatives.   • "Well all I can say is positive words,This property is nothing short of amazing."

    The owners have obviously but their hearts and souls into it and no expense spared.It is short of nothing and it’s got everything you could ever need for your stay no matter how short or long.Every little touch shows there’s been a lot of thought put into it and we absolutely loved it and must say it’s the best home we have stayed in and we’ve stayed in a lot of places in the UK.All the beds are comfy bathrooms spotless living area so cozy,kitchen area is perfect and games room brilliant.Room out front for 3 cars and as stated in the add 2 pubs,local shop and chippy all on the doorstep.We never stay at the same place twice but if we ever changed that we wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.Thank you Mick & Angella.Tottington.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

  • "Very well appointed property and very comfortable."

    Lovely kitchen and games room. The EV charger is a useful facility as there are only few public chargers. Ideal position bring centrally located. Llangefni has several shops only fifteen minutes away. Look forward to returning.

  • "Great house, with a lovely view out over the fields and excellent amenities like the games room and garden."

    Hosts were communicative and very helpful. Well stocked kitchen with decent cooking equipment. Only downside was lack of a general waste bin inside the house. Would definitely come back - fantastic stay.

  • "An excellent property as a central base for visiting Anglesey."

    All amenities were great, with a lovely big kitchen, games room with billiards table and comfortable bedrooms. We loved the rear outlook across the fields and the garden was secure enough for our dogs. We had a smashing time and would highly recommend this property. Thank you .

  • "The bungalow was very clean with everything you need for a perfect holiday."

    Beds are very comfortable and showers perfect. My son used the car charger and said it was not complicated. Games room has all you need to entertain children if the weather is bad. Owners very helpful if you have a problem.

  • "This property is spotlessly clean, very well equipped with everything that you could possibly need for a holiday."

    The beds are comfortable and the kitchen and bathrooms are virtually brand new. There is off road parking for several cars. We had to contact the owner regarding the EV Charger and they responded the same day with a follow up message the next day. We would happily recommend this property to anyone.

The former market town of Llanerchymedd is located in the heart of picturesque Anglesey, providing a gateway to the superb beaches around the coastline. Llanerchymedd was once home to a thriving cobblers’ industry with over 250 shoemakers in the town and numerous corn mills to provide food for the cobblers and also to supply the traders at the market. The village now offers a smaller community feeling, with two village pubs and the old station cafe serving food, a small village shop, chip shop and launderette, which should provide for most of your daily needs. The freshwater reservoirs of Llyn Cefni and Llyn Alaw offer an attractive circular walk and numerous country paths. Closeby is Mynydd Bodafon Mountain, a picturesque beauty spot to enjoy picnics and walks. Moelfre and Benllech are the nearest coastal villages on the east coast. Moelfre is a delightful fishing village, boasting little cottages, a picturesque pebbled beach, a working lifeboat station and two quality pubs and restaurants.
