    Mrs Gavin

“Overall, a superb cottage in a fabulous location.”

In terms of useful feedback, the cottage was compact downstairs and as suggested, only suitable for 6 adults or a mix of adults and children. We were a mix and would say there was sufficient space for up to 8 people. Bathrooms were lovely as were the neds, very comfy. The dining table only seats 6 for reference. The kitchen utensils were not ideal, lacking larger pans and a frying pan, as well as a cafetiere and bottle opener! So we had to buy the latter. Also, there was a mistake with the booking details so we hadn't brought towels but Menai holidays agreed a solution with us and were very helpful. The house is in a great location very close to the beach, shops and pubs. We had a really lovely time and would come again.

This property is part of the Menai Holidays collection.

The cottage

This wonderful refurbished dorma bungalow sits at the end of a quiet cul de sac in the heart of Morfa Nefyn on the Llŷn Peninsula.

It is a short walk to the shops, beach and the Tŷ Coch Inn, a famous beach bar which was recently voted the third best beach bar in the world! The open plan living area is modern, light and airy.

It has a squishy L shaped sofa, flat screen TV and wood burning stove.

The stylish, well-equipped kitchen includes an integrated electric double oven and grill, fridge with ice compartment and a dishwasher.

There is small utility room with a washer / dryer. There are four bedrooms.

Two on the ground floor and two upstairs.

On the ground floor there is a twin bedroom with two single beds, and a second bedroom with a standard double bed.

The family bathroom is on the ground floor with loo, wash hand basin, shower and heated towel rail.

There is a separate cloakroom with loo and wash hand basin. On the first floor there is a double bedroom with a whitewashed wooden vaulted ceiling, standard double bed and ensuite bathroom with bath, loo, wash hand basin and shower with drencher head.

The fourth bedroom has twin single beds.

Sliding patio doors open out onto the enclosed garden at the back of the house, which has a gravelled area and lawn.

Rattan garden furniture is provided so you can enjoy eating al fresco during the summer months.

To the front there is a small lawned garden with shrubs and parking for two cars on the drive. Whilst this house can sleep 8 people in total, the living space is quite small so we recommend up to a maximum of 6 people.

The coastline along this beautiful stretch of North Wales is simply breathtaking.

Nefyn itself has a good selection of shops, including an award-winning Spar, takeaway, bars and cafes.
