The property

The Hideaway sits quietly in the village of Mynytho, just outside Abersoch, offering an excellent base for families or groups keen to experience the character and coastline of the Llŷn Peninsula.

Elevated slightly above the bustle of the coast, the setting feels calm and rural, yet the beaches, cafés, and sailing culture of this popular corner of North Wales are easily reached by car.

Arranged across three floors, the house is thoughtfully designed to make the most of both space and views.

The main living area is positioned on the first floor, creating a bright and sociable hub for the group.

Here, the open-plan layout brings together a well-equipped kitchen with oven, hob, fridge, dishwasher, kettle, toaster, and wine chiller, alongside a dining area made for long, unhurried meals.

The sitting space invites you to put your feet up after a day outdoors, with a Smart TV on hand for relaxed evenings in.

Sleeping accommodation is generous and flexible, with six well-presented bedrooms spread throughout the house.

These include several doubles, three with en-suite walk-in showers, one of which enjoys access to a private balcony on the second floor.

There is also a bunk room with a daybed and a twin room, making it well suited to mixed groups and younger guests.

A family bathroom with bath and WC, along with an additional shower room, helps keep things running smoothly when everyone is getting ready.

Outside, an enclosed decked area with furniture provides a welcoming spot for outdoor dining, morning coffee, or simply taking in the surrounding views.

Off-road parking for several cars adds convenience, while WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen, and towels are all included.

Pets are welcome too, meaning four-legged companions can join in the adventure.

From The Hideaway, the sandy beaches and lively food scene of Abersoch are easily reached, while Pwllheli offers a working marina, shops, and coastal walks.

The wider Llŷn Peninsula is ideal for exploring hidden coves, scenic footpaths, and traditional villages, all framed by sweeping sea views and big skies.

The Hideaway is a strong choice for those wanting space, comfort, and easy access to one of North Wales’ most appealing coastal regions.

Note: This property has a Good Housekeeping bond of £500.

ABERSOCH

Pwllheli 6 miles.

The attractive harbour village of Abersoch is situated on the Llyn Peninsula in a region of Wales renowned for its outstanding scenery and varied walking. The village, situated between two glorious bays, is one of the most popular sailing venues in North Wales and important sailing regattas are held there throughout the summer months. Numerous shops cater for the tourist as well as pubs, restaurants and cafes. There are also opportunities for golfers as there is a course just outside the village and horse riding facilities are also available nearby. Watersports enthusiasts are also well catered for, particularly windsurfing, water skiing and dinghy sailing, not to mention renowned surfing at Port Neigwl (Hell’s Mouth). The long, sandy Abersoch Main Beach is probably the most popular beach in the area. There is a wonderful selection of beaches in the surrounding area of the Llyn Peninsula, including the beautiful and often quiet Porth Ceriad, with it's high cliffs, and sandy Porth Oer ("Whistling Sands"). Most of the coastline is owned by the National Trust and there are many remote bays, sandy beaches and cliffs, as well as wildlife havens like Bardsey Island to explore.
