“Lovely large house, very well furnished and comfortable.”

Perfect base to explore the Llyn Peninsular and North Wales. Criccieth is a lovely town. Recommend Dylans & Meis Fusion for meals and of course Cadwalladers for ice cream. Only downside in Criccieth is that parking could be an issue during the summer.

The property

This lovely holiday house sits on a quiet lane in the centre of Criccieth.

It has been decorated to a high standard and is a great space for family and friends to relax after a day exploring all that the Llŷn Peninsula has to offer.

You can walk out the door to the beach, castle, shops and restaurants, so if your plan is to hang up the car keys and switch off it doesn't get much better than this! The open plan kitchen and dining area is flooded with light from the glass roof lantern.

The kitchen has a large range cooker with 3 ovens and gas hob, and American style double door fridge freezer and microwave.

There is a large wall mounted Smart TV, and a large dining table with ample seating. The cosy sitting room has comfortable sofas, a Smart TV and wood burning stove.

The master king bedroom is located on the top floor of the house with stunning views of the bay and the added luxury of a roll top bath and an en-suite shower room with double sinks, loo and towel radiator.

There are a further three bedrooms, comprising of a double, a twin room with hand basin and fitted wardrobes, and a single room with optional trundle bed and en-suite loo and hand basin. The family bathroom has a shower over bath, loo, hand basin and towel radiator. There is a small enclosed courtyard to rear of the house and a further seating area at the front of the property to take advantage of the views. Criccieth is a lively and friendly seaside town full of charm, character and everything you need for a great holiday.

If you do want to explore further, a ten minute drive away are the large marina towns of Pwllheli or Porthmadog where you will find supermarkets and independent local shops.

Alternatively, discover the magical Italian village of Portmeirion.

At the front of the house there is a railway line.

However, far from causing disturbance, it seems to add ambiance to the house as you listen to the trains chug past on their way down the Cambrian Coast.
