• "Sandy Corner is a great accomodation with great facilities."

  It might sound silly but for someone who enjoys cooking, the very full utensil drawer was a big plus! I've never seen one this well stocked! The space is spacious, the beds very comfy and the doors out to the garden bit open fully which was great for us! All in all a fantastic stay!

  Cottage well equipped for a family of four and two dogs. Beautiful surroundings, the grounds so well kept. The pool and gym fantastic the staff (lifeguards) lovely and polite. The cottage itself very clean and comfortable . Lovely welcome gifts for us all. We all had a lovely break and will recommend, no faults to report thanks for a great stay

• "Like a home from home,this property has everything and more than you could ask for during a holiday break."

  Two minutes walk to the onsite facilities and pubb and five minutes to the beach. We will be back again without a doubt. Only one minor detail was the picture on the wall above the bed kept falling down. Maybe tilt the screws slightly to rectify this. All in all we had a splendid,chilled, midweek break.

• "The wooden edge alongside the mattress from the bed is the only downside, many bruises on our legs from it after catching it getting in and out of the double bed, maybe it’s designed for a larger mattress?"

  Or just a poorly designed bed frame. Apart from that lovely people and a lovely house! Thank you for the warm welcome, we had a lovely time. Easy to contact owner who was very pleasant when asking questions, the beach is only a stones throw away and facilities are nearby. Hopefully in the future they will install electric car chargers in the holiday homes area for ease too so that we can charge our car. All in all it was a wonderful stay and very pleasant so thank you.

  Sorry about the bed, we stay regularly there and have never had issues. Car chargers are planned for the bay and hopefully will be installed soon. Glad you enjoyed the rest of your stay. Neil & lynn Property Owner

• "We had a great week at Sandy Corner, enjoyed every moment!"

  ! The Bay is a great place to go to (it was our fourth stay at the Bay), children enjoyed the swimming pool and the playground. It was our 2nd stay at Sandy Corner and we will come again as we feel it is the best cottage at the Bay. It is roomy, spotlessly clean, there is everything you could need, the decoration is lovely, it is very close to the beach and the owners make you feel really welcomed. The four of us loved walking to Filey by the shore and we even walked to Filey Brigg twice which is a great walk specially when you can spot seals or black dolphins.

• "We have had a fantastic holiday at sandy corner,it is a superb holiday home equipped with everything you need ie all kitchen utensils to cook anything."

  in the middle bedroom is a buggy to carry things in to the beech, or a mature dog like we have. the property is situated on a corner plot and has a good size garden and a lovely sun trap to the side which we loved, this holiday home has loads of games ect for children and also a ps4. it was a superb holiday home walking distance to the beach and pub shop and lesure facilities on the complex

  Can’t recommend the property more, the house is so homely and clean and truly felt like a home from home. Lovely touches like dog treats a bottle of wine and coffee/tea etc on arrival. Perfect location for the beach and exploring Filey. The facilities on site are great we enjoyed the gym and pub / cafe. We have stayed on the Bay before but this was our favourite property we have stayed in and we will most definitely be booking again for next year - we were so sad to leave!

• "This property is spot on."

  On entry to the property you immediately noticed how clean and fresh the place was. Really nice furnishings and appliances, all in good working order and tested. The shower was nice and powerful ( nothing worse than a poor shower. The heating was timed perfectly and you didn’t need it on for long before turning it off. Netflix on the smart tv & 2 large comfy settees for a movie night in. It’s the little things done right that makes for a pleasant stay. The house is perfectly positioned on the site for beach and the pub. Only improvement I would make is an outside tap for washing the sand off the dogs paws after being on the beach. Would love to return Thank you

• "Spoke to owners on arrival as they had messaged me earlier hoping for safe arrival and there would be a bottle of wine !"

  ! Not to be . Arranged for following day. Yes. Cleanliness... I have my own cleaning business my standards are high especially during these times.. cutlery drawer was full of crumbs and greasy, grill tray placed in cupboard under sink to catch drips. Bath very skippy, I slipped 3 times, grouting around bath needs re doing, furniture not moved. I monitored cleaners on site, how can you take the cleaning trolleys into homes at present time, germs on site, I never saw them open windows whilst cleaning, no gloves !!! I could go in !!

  We have stayed in several properties within The Bay site and the location on site, coupled with the extended garden, and internal décor make this cottage a real stand out. Fully equipped with all we could ask for, dish washer, washing machine, wi-fi for the kids, and a 5 minute stroll to wonderful Filey Beach. Not so much a holiday house, but more so a holiday home. Highly recommended holiday home, we loved our stay.

  The owner consented to a last minute booking and text us at the cottage to check everything was good. There was even a bottle of wine for us to enjoy.
