"Had the most amazing stay, the house was beautiful and we instantly felt at home, everything you could possibly need was provided and an unexpected food parcel was extremely appreciated."
The Christmas tree was a lovely thought and the fact that it snowed during our stay made it extra special.
Pickering itself is a great base with Whitby, Scarborough, Dalby forest and other walks and places to visit within a short drive. Would definitely recommend and would love to come back and stay again in the future. Thank you so much to Alan and John.

and all the furniture and fittings are brand new. Our guests always appreciate the hamper which consists of tea, ground coffee, sugar, milk, bread, butter, marmalade and orange juice.

"2 Derwent road, is Probably the Very Best Holiday Home you could wish to stay in, It is Absolutely immaculate, it lacks for nothing , it is modern warm Spotless, and is central for all your days out , Pickering town centre is a 10 min walk away , by car major tourist attractions are within easy travelling distance, would we stay hear again, in a Heartbeat !"

"The property was very modern and clean."
Easy to find with an ample parking area. 5 minutes walk from Pickering town centre with its many shops. The hosts were very friendly and helpful,suggesting places to visit and places to eat in the town. A great base if staying in North Yorkshire. Excellent.

"Lovely comfortable house."
Few comments:
Table in kitchen very small for 4 people.
Couldn’t find a corkscrew.
No large bowls.
Pamphlets on local attractions would have been useful.
Thank you for your review, we have now supplied a corkscrew and salad bowls, thank you for bringing this to our notice. We think turning the table round so guests can sit at each side and at each end may be more suitable. We will be supplying more information about the area.

"Our stay at Derwent Road was lovely."
The house is very well furnished and fitted with everything you need for your stay. Alan kept us updated on how to access the key on arrival and kept in touch throughout our 3 night stay. The welcome pack was a nice surprise, thank you. Good quality furniture is very comfortable, beds, reclining sofas and dining chairs. Very clean throughout the property and lovely garden with seating area. Convenient 2 car parking space adjacent to the property. The siting of the property gives easy access to Pickering, Thornton Le Dale, Malton and other market towns. Not too far to venture to Whitby, Scarborough and York. We would recommend this property and wouldn't hesitiate to visit again in the future.

"Great property ideally situated for Pickering, Kirkbymoorside, Helmsley, Thornton le Dale and the north Yorkshire moors national park."
Presented in a very clean condition with modern facilities and off-street parking for two vehicles. Owners very helpful being contactable if required, highly recommended.
