  • "A lovely relaxing holiday property, very clean and comfortable, modern and tranquil."

The hot tub was a real bonus and very well maintained. had extra beach towels and games, another plus. not ideal for those without their own transport, as there are no shops or public transport nearby. generally well equipped. ( would benefit from some oven gloves or tea towels to remove hot items from oven) I would highly recommend this cottage. Thank you

Many thanks for your lovely feedback. HUGE apologies for the missing oven gloves and tea towels, our lovely very busy cleaners must have forgotten to replace them. We obviously normally provide them and again apologies for the incovenience this must have caused, next time give us a call on the numbers provided or ask the people who come and see to the hot tube daily. So pleased you had a lovey stay. Property Owner

20 mins drive in to Hull. Easy access to coast. Facilities and decir were of the highest quality. Exceeded our expectations and we would certainly stay again.

  • "This is an amazing holiday 'cottage', thoughtfully converted to give spacious and comfortable accommodation."

We found everything to be super clean and of the highest quality, with lots of little touches to make you feel that's you're in a very special place. We used the hot tub alot, as well as the outside fire area. The kitchen was well equiped with everything you could need and everywhere was just really comfortable...we didn't want to leave. The Stag's Head in Lelley is a short walk and serves excellent food with a very friendly atmosphere. We would thoroughly recommend the Fox's Den!

  • "Loved our stay."

Very tranquil and lovely walks and beaches nearby. Barn was lovely and the owners helpful.

  • "Fabulous holiday home, one thing to improve would be enclosed area so dog is free to roam."

Felt a bit penned in unable to open the doors at all.

  • "The barn was very nice but there were a few issues we found with cleanliness."

Dirty plates and greasy baking trays, dirty marks on some of the walls and dirt in the downstairs bathroom. The biggest problem for us was that despite being listed as dog friendly the property wasn’t fully enclosed meaning dogs could easily access the road. This meant that we couldn’t keep the doors open for our dog to potter about outside like he’s used to. It also meant the barn was extremely hot all the time. I messaged the owner to ask if there was a way to enclose the courtyard so our dog wasn’t stuck inside. He said he’d have a think about it but never got back to me. Overall a nice cottage in a lovely location but disappointing. I wouldn’t list this as dog friendly.

  • "We had an amazing week at Fox’s Den."

The accommodation was superb. So peaceful and the hot tub was a bonus. The Stag down the road did great food. Visited York which is a beautiful city and Mappleton beach was stunning. Would definitely visit again. Thanks for a great week !!!

  • "Fantastic. Everything was superb, thankyou."

We loved it. Clean. Warm. Well stocked. Luxurious. The local pub was superb.....don't venture any further....we did and there was no-contest. The hot tubs were drained, cleaned and refilled. Would definitely return. Would have benefitted from having a multi-plug adapter in sofa-room. There was only 1 socket, so couldn't hook the nintendo switch up in there. Granted, this will not apply to many. Also, the postcode provided wasnt particularly accurate - but you can't miss the cottages...just keep going.

Cant fault anything to do with this place. Had everything you could need for your stay, the place was modern and extremely clean. Beds were really comfy, they had simba mattresses. Would 100% recommend
