Dear Mrs Greenwood, I am sorry to hear you did not enjoy your stay. In regards to the issue of access, Sykes have the right key code as I had checked with them prior to your stay. I understand the housekeeper kindly let you in early, (prior to 3pm ), therefore you were still in the cottage ahead of time. I do apologise for there being no welcome pack with milk, this is usually in place for guests and I have spoken to those that provide it. The black bag issue has also been addressed and again apologies for this. I understand you were upset at the parking. Almost all the properties along Church St have no parking. It does state this on the information for the cottage on the website along with information on car parks locally. We have exactly the same issue when we visit. I am sorry you found the bed uncomfortable. The mattress is new and firm but has a mattress topper in place also, so I would suggest it is medium/firm. The cottage is as described and provides comfortable accommodation within an 18th century dwelling. Again I am sorry you did not find it to your taste. - Sykes owner relations
